Posting road bike abroad. Please advise.

Hi. Looking to ship a road bike over to Spain. Heard travelling with it may be the easiest and cheapeat way but I'd rather post it. Anyone done it and could guide me a bit....company to use, price, etc? I could post it from the North too which seems to have more options.. Thanks

I can’t offer any recommendations on how to get it there but after seeing videos of how large objects are handled by airport and courier companies I’d be ensuring itsin a hard case or else over insuring it to cover potential (and likely) damage.
