TH that most of my classes tomorrow involve reading plays and novels. I’m so lucky to (mostly) love my job!

My mother in law sent me over some little biscuit/cakes (Boom-bap probably knows them, they are called nussecken meaning nut corners) from Germany. She attached a little note saying I was the best daughter in law. I haven't been feeling much of a use to anyone lately and that really cheered me up. The nurses, cleaners, catering staff and doctors are also enjoying scoffing most of them :p

Makes me smile, this photo.. 2v3r5p0.jpg

The cat was a feral years ago and he had no idea the dog was watching him sleep. Usually they would not go near each other.

for some reason the photo seems to have vanished.

I put it on another forum and it is fine there and i have it in pictures

Is this love that I'm feeling
Is this the love that I've been searching for
Is this love or am I dreaming
    This must be love
'Cause it's really got a hold on me
    A hold on me.....

    Here you go:
How oft do my thoughts in their fancy take flight
To the home of my childhood away,
To the days when each patriot's vision seem'd bright
Ere I dreamed that those joys should decay.
When my heart was as light as the wild winds that blow
Down the Mardyke through each elm tree,
Where I sported and play'd 'neath each green leafy shade
On the banks of my own lovely Lee.

November's issue of True Detective out at last, it always seems so long between issues. It brings me back to sitting in my grandparent's shed as a child reading a pile of them that I found. In hindsight probably not the best reading material for one so young, but I was always fascinated with anything morbid :)
