Bought tickets to a gig today for my 10 year old daughter as a surprise.

Seeing her so delighted when I told her really made my day.

Got lovely email from an old friend and included good news on his wife's recent illness.

Also got a lovely photo of the youngest grandchild having hauled himself to standing for the first time. The look of satisfaction on his face is priceless.

Me and my flatmates went to this really nice bar tonight for food, got half a pizza for £2.90, and a Tanqueary and tonic for £4.20. Nice to do something casual with them apart from clubbing

Satsumas, yes. Socks, I don't know, perhaps the cotton ones, but the woolly socks or trainer socks would be a bit chewy.

They come in handy if you've run out of weetabix or bran flakes. :pac:

hope.... of feeling better and being snug here in the current storm... Hope of recovery from a vicious virus.... of lighting the turf and snuggling down with the cats to let healing happen... always the bright shining glow of HOPE that lights the way just one step ahead... all we need.

Had a lovely cinema date with one of my best friends. I haven't seen her in over a month because I've been too stressed and tired over school. I was so pleased to see her and have a chat. The movie was great too!

My youngest cat loves sleeping on his back all stretched out; you just HAVE to rub him... He was outside when I battled the gale to get turf in and the indignation that HE WAS OUT was awesome,, Tail up in the air, glowering..

Was video chatting to my brother and niece on whatsapp last night and he had a breakfast bar and my niece grabbed it and she wouldn't give it back to him :D and she was rolling around and he couldn't get it back :D and then she let go of it and he took it back, well she nearly shouted the house down giving out to her daddy, so he gave it back to her and she happy as larry again :D:3.

I'm having a lazy Sunday surfing the net sitting in bed. My dogs are asleep beside me and one of them must be having a great dream because she's wagging her tail in her sleep :pac::D
