Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The exact name of this band isn't in the picture . It's more a phonetic thing...

Yes a great band but hold a second the pixies probably outsell REM or if they dont they should and how is the answer pixies?

    correct!

    I assume its "pic" "sees".

And I'm a much bigger fan of the pixies compared to REM but the latter were churning out number 1 albums during the mid 90s. Pixies not so much.

Great bands are not appreciated in their time.

That may sometimes be the case but still doesn't apply to these two bands.

    Top songs on Spotify

    REM
    1 - 268 Million
    5 - 40 Million

    Pixies
    1 - 163 Million
    5 - 20 Million

Yeah, pixies for me any day. I do have to say I absolutely adore E-bow the Letter though and enjoyed the version that is doing the rounds with Thom Yorke on it.

They're doing a string of 30th Anniversary shows here in London but I've little interest in going. I feel like I've seen the bulk of Surfer Rosa and Come on Pilgrim already that I don't need to hear it back to back.

No. It's an American band, formed in the eighties.

This band aren't very big over here but they had hit albums and songs during the nineties in the USA, and they've sold millions of albums. It's not a cryptic one really.
