1/2 water pipe fittings

Hi

Anyone know where I could purchase the old type 1/2 inch water pipe connectors: they do not have an insert and they come with a circular spring.

Preferably online?

I have a few here. I'll check tomorrow and see if they have a logo or branding on them.
Not a patch on the new types. Why do you want them?

Tried amazon couldn’t find them.

The ones I have don’t have any branding on them, they are not actually for me but the other half’s father. He thinks the straight ones are great, but the T pieces are rubbish always breaking. He thinks there nice and neat and hasn’t had any problems with them leaking.

I am not sure what you are looking for but I buy all my water fittings troughs etc here, best value and quality around. Tom and Nile are nice guys and couldn’t do enough to help yea. I would say call them and they will send you a quote and send out the goods

I suspect it's these old Hozelock yokes we're talking about here:

They were a major leap forward for joining hydrodare pipe in their day, far more convenient and reusable than hot copper pipe & jubilee clips or brass compression fittings, but they've long since been superseded by much better alternatives.
I haven't seen them for sale anywhere for at least a decade (or two!), but I'd say there's a selection of bits of them around the country in every farmers rummage box of plumbing stuff.
Have a look in the toolbox of any tractor with a pre-2000 registration number
