Would you date a woman who was taller than you?

I've got no problem dating a woman who'd be older than me or have a higher salary than me...but i do have a hang up about a woman who'd be taller than me...makes me feel uncomfortable esp in social situations.

How about you ? have you ever dated a woman who made you feel like a shorty?

A few inches is nothing but if someone has to stoop or drastically bend to kiss, then that could be an issue.
I do prefer to be taller though.

Yes, though the wife would not be happy. I'm 6'3'' so not to many dolls taller than me.

Had a girlfriend many years ago who was 1.75...whenever she wore heels, she'd be as tall as I am (1.85) and used to mock me a bit about it

I guess that taller guys will have a bit more of an hang up about this one, especially as they're not really used to be around women who tower over them. I've personally also dated a lady who was more or less my height in the past, and although it did feel a bit weird at the beginning, I quickly grew used to it. I do have a thing for tall women 'though

My 1st "proper" Girlfriend was/is 6'3" in socks.
I started going out with her before my final growth spurt kicked in.
I went from 5'11" to 6'2" while with her, but hit 6'5" after we split

Height would have no bearing for me in a GF, it's seems to be more of an issue for women in wanting a tall partner.

My GF however is 5 foot dead, so it would be quite a jump...

Friend of mine is shorter than his present girlfriend, he's 5,5 and she's 5,6 without heels.

He wears wedges in his shoes to make up the difference on nights out.

Wouldn't worry me TBH. Then again at 5'11" I'd not short, so she'd be more the one that might stand out. I've never gone out with someone taller than me. In bare feet anyway, but in heels one was slightly taller. Never an issue. I've gone out on dates with two taller women and again no issues with that on either side.

My partner is slightly smaller than me in flats but when she wears heels she towers over me and I have to say, I love it. I'd have no issues dating someone who was taller than me.

Under no circumstances would I date a woman who was taller than me. Even if she looked like Megan Fox and was mad into me. I can't believe any guy would even consider it. I'm 5 foot 6 so it's a big problem for me. Criticise me if you like but I just couldn't do it.

Is it because of her height drawing attention to what you perceive as your own lack of height?

I'd just feel stupid. It's nothing against women, I'm sure most women taller than me are perfectly lovely, kind individuals, I just wouldn't feel comfortable being with a woman taller than me. I have missed out on relationships because of it as there have been occasions in the past where girls have fancied me and maybe wanted me to ask them out but I couldn't because they were taller than me. I wouldn't even be interested in a woman the same height as me because if she wears high heels (as most women do) then she will be taller than me. That leaves me scouting the 5 foot 2/3 range (sorry to be so crude ladies).
The comparison with hanging around with lads who are taller than me isn't the same thing because it's a different type of relationship.
I have hardly ever seen a guy my height with a girlfriend anyway. It's actually incredible how rare it is. I noticed it there when I was out and about in a busy shopping centre on a Saturday. I didn't see one couple where the guy was even the same height as the girl, never mind smaller. Not one. Every single couple the guy was taller. I'd never taken notice of it before because it's not something I consciously paid attention to. But if you do it's actually scary (if you are a short guy).
