    Hi,

I run about 35km per week and have developed a pain on my tibia below (not underneath) my kneecap that won't go away. It's not particularly bad but something tells me I need take care of it.

Are there any physios in Dublin city center or D2/4/6/8 that specialise in running that people recommend?

    Thanks,
    Ronan

Hi, I had a similar enough issue (patellar tendonosis) and Aidan Woods in Pearse Street Physio (D2) sorted it. He knows his stuff.

Heard about him from a recommendation here.

+1 for Aidan, absolute gent and really knows his stuff, had me sorted in a couple of weeks after me wasting time with other physios.

Thanks Damo and Timbuk2. I think there are quite a few physios that are a waste of time so it's great to hear a personal recommendation.

I’d third the recommendation for Aidan’s place. It’s Pearse St Physio. I’d recommend Tadhg there as well as Aidan. I go to Tadhg and he’s fixed me s million times. And I credit his sports massages a few days before them with my two best running times in races this year!

Thanks Helen. This place is sounding fantastic.

Try and go to a physio who runs would be my recommendation.

Aidan used to mountain run. I don’t think Tadhg runs seriously, but a lot of his clients are runners and he teaches the runners’ Pilates class. He’s really good!

Tadgh's poison is rugby I believe. but another vote for Pearse St Physio here, between Aiden and Tadhg, they have tidied up tonnes of niggles of mine over the past 5 years! (I'm gradually colouring in that chart on the computer!)

But apparently when some part of you is better they mark it black on the computer instead of red. I'm a patchwork of red & black on screen now :)
