Blowerproof liquid

    Hi,
    I'm building a two storey house and I'm thinking of using blowerproof liquid behind the first floor joists hangers to achieve air tightness. My engineer seems happy enough. Has anyone used this product? How did you find it? Thanks.

    Haven’t used it, just looking the literature there, I’m not sure I’d use it at wall/floor or wall/window junction due to potential movement,

    looks like it could suit behind wall hangers - assume your plastering block-work? And not drylining

    Yes, blockwork. I was talking to the sales rep who was very helpful and assures me it's suitable, just thought I'd try the wisdom of the board...thanks

    Every make of air tight paint will work for your detail in case you apply it as recommended by the manufacturer.
