Why would Irene, who already has the benefit of peeking as an NRV (at the expense of having to be sent away from her backroom) ALSO get to send messages, especially when Irene Adler doesn't do anything of the sort in the show?

I feel as if this is a game where the characters and powers/clues/etc are tailored really well to keep the powers true to the show.

And Irene having message sending, on top of everything else, doesn't add up.

Neither, btw, does the inclusion of the Janine character....nor that if she did get put in the game, she'd get messages to send.

Eurus sending manipulative messages does, though. Playing mind games from the shadows?

I don't mind my theory being shot down, I just want people to consider all scenarios. I can actually see your point about the wolves being overpowered but this has been a crazy game.

Yes, yes it has been crazy.

Just don't know what's to come, but I really would hope that there isn't a powerful wolf like you describe on a wolf team which already have their own seer, 50/50 vig, blackmailer, all of that.

This is my fear too. Only way to know for sure is a seer peek as others have said. I'm fried too and it's past my bedtime already.

Guys I'm awake 32+ hours now. Not your fault I know, but a reality which means me going to bed now and hopefully sleeping for at least 12 hours.

When I eventually rise tomorrow, I really need to get some RL stuff done which has fallen badly by the wayside since Andy Mourinho PMed me on Monday to call me up to the WW first 11.

This is fun and intense, but I need to draw a line. So I will likely not be around this side of RL lunch-time tomorrow. If I survive any and all surprises this game has to throw in the meantime, I will be back with contributions.

Good night, you absolute crazy ****s :D

So you chose Orla , me and then Eva (who looked on the chopping board) because you thought we were wolves. Ok so your death would confirm we were wolves.

So you left breadcrumbs for the village to know Orla and me were your choice or somehow involved?

Only trying to understand your thinking Winnie....

I read you going after Dessie hard and saying “isn’t that right Riona” or something to that affect. I was going at Dessie aswell for my own reasons but to be frank I wasn’t sure about your motives or side. It’s the same reason I let Eva defend you earlier and didn’t chime in.

Clodagh dieing after she was going to shoot you is just bugging the hell
Out of me. You have supposedly 3 villagers backing you up and some of your reasoning is not filling me with joy joy feelings...

I’ve made plenty mistakes as good and bad. I’m only trying to be fair here. I’m in the good list and I’m still a bit worried... I’m just saying....

O look you're questioning her now.

Just reading thread proper now. Wini has clearly played us for fools. There's no way that post holds water. She wanted to find a wolf by dying?

Im shocked she survived the lynch.

I have had people on my ffa for less in this game, hell i voted steve for less yesterday.

Im out on wini, and id be willing to bet there is one other wolf in her list. Riona i believe its you.

Abviously this is moot if the seer says she's good but if not, im voting wini tomorrow.

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 3,056 ✭✭✭Abigail WW

no matter what happens 12hrs after the message (I'm predicting nothing) we need to consider Wini and co tomorrow. Beyond the ability to send messages none of what Wini said is verifiable and yet they all got a free pass from lynch. I think many of us (particularly those who received messages of course) wanted to believe Wini was good as what she was saying meant there was a good core but we can't just blindly ignore the holes in Wini's logic and that none of it is provable again and again.

If she drops dead at that time then ok That's different

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 5,361 ✭✭✭Conor WW

Morning all. I think that's a fair point Abigail. Missing the tunes this morning, I'm struggling to get going.

I will point out that Winnie never answered that. I also think you need to read again.

So what’s my logic for bringing savage suspicion on Winnie when nobody was talking about me when I asked
    Riona WW wrote: »
Why did you choose me Orla and Eva? Just curious...

I was coasting and had nobody but Conor picking me out. That’s been a massive handgrenade for Winnie. If I’m a clever wolf why would I ask that if I knew she had a very suspiciously odd answer? You could nearly argue it would be hard to see a wolf discussing that with other wolves and them all agreeing with that narrative.

If this is your only thing that has you suspect on me then it’s pretty weak. In the cases of Dessie , Clodagh and Gab I was mostly defending myself from insinuations. There’s a difference between defending yourself and defending somebody else.

You get a D- Must try harder

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 4,132 ✭✭✭Gabriel WW

Riona did you just answer a question from yourself?

Nope. That was a question I asked Winnie that she answered “ I was searching for wolves” that’s caused her all this trouble.

I was explaining I was coasting along and didn’t need to put any heat on Winnie if, as Gertie is implying” I’m a wolf...

    Right, the worst case scenario.

Eva and Winnie are bad. Winnie is Jeff with his pills.

The plan was never to last long. The plan was to delay Clodagh enough to block her vig kill, AND in the process get another wolf kill with the pills today as well.

Eva flipped late last night, close to the vote, cause she and the wolves knew a seer check murdered the plan? Right? So the distance had to be created asap, without doing it early enough to impact the vote?

I too am distrustful of Eva

But we need more than conjecture to call her a wolf.

A sherlock peak would actually clear up everything assuming there is no wolf to protect from it. .

Alternatively if we knew molley was around we kill winnie and she confirms. If Winnie is telling the truth then surely that clears Orla, Me, Eva and Gabrial ? That's a big win . .

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 3,864 ✭✭✭Nigel WW

Yeah, Priest or Seer would tells us on Winnie. The former of course would require her death first. TBH, I think in Wendy and Barbara one or both of those roles are probably gone.

What does Mrs Hudson do? Anything in her powers that can unravel this riddle for us?

Reads like an elder role to overturn a lynch.

Mmmm. Nothing that would help here then.

Well hold on here, because who do we peek and who do we priest reveal?
Wini is potentially a goodie role (35%, but still could be), so peeking her would make sense to me.
Eva is a self declared NRV, so if anyone goes to the priest, its her.
But i am again unhappy to kill off someone who has been contributing based on a flip flop. I did the same the night before and it was genuine uncertainty on my part. And in this case, i believe Eva did the right thing in waking up to Winis bs, so its a tall order to beat her over the head with that.
I have other plans in terms of who ill be looking at today (if i live). The above is my 2c on Eva. TL;DR - i am 100% on the fence about Eva.

Yeah. Surely other goodies would wanna come forward to be possibly confirmed in future. Any of the low posters under heat for example.

    Holly, Steve, Isla, Nigel.

Should have snapped his hand off.
    Eva WW wrote: »
Yeah sure, but if we're going to look at these players, we also have to look at if they bought Wini's story in the first place. I don't think Isla did for example, so why should someone like that be jumping through hoops for Wini? Especially if some villagers would have believed it meant nothing anyway even if they did jump through those hoops.

It would have been a way for Liam or someone somewhat supportive of Wini to step up, yes, but not every player.

This is where i want to look. Combine who supported Winis plan with who didnt step forward to get a message combined with FFA analysis from last night and final voting. Ill do some sort of points system to ferret out who looks most guilty on those metrics.

If we'd a seer, and they peeked Winnie as good then that would almost clear the other three (barring them being Irene - but they can't all be).

If she comes back bad, then we lynch her and reassess the other three.

Of course, if seer hasn't already peeked Winnie then the next chance will be after lynch. I'm not sure I want to risk keeping Winnie alive for another lynch though. Best case scenario the seer is still alive and has already peeked Winnie and will announce at 9.59am.

I was on board with her claim (mostly, if not wholly), until her "searching for wolves" post. Now I feel we've been totally had and she'll probably have to go.

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 4,456 ✭✭✭Orla WW

Morning all, I'd agree with the general consensus in we need confirmation on Winnie on way or another. Hopefully this morning will give us something.

Although, that being said, the BG protection stuff... reveals should really be happening before the lynch as BG can't change protect afterwards.

Will post the full FFA list in a few mins again if you like, just getting settled in on laptop and have to do a school run

… unless she comes back with a REALLY good explanation of how she planned to let us know she'd found a wolf when she was already dead. If she can point to some breadcrumbs she already left in the scenario of Orla, Riona, Eva turning out to be wolves, I'd look differently on her. I had a quick glance (admittedly not in depth) at her post history and saw none, but if she could point to it I'd feel better about her.

We run the risk of them getting pilled as soon as they come out, though.

    List of Players Alive

    Brendan WW - Claims BG

Winifred WW - Can send notes - claims good role not in OP

People who have received the notes from Winnie who are clear villagers if she is good:

    Orla WW
    Riona WW
    Gabriel WW
    Eva WW

    Rest of the village.

    Abigail WW
    Conor WW
    Derry WW
    Gertrude WW
    Holly WW
    Isla WW
    Nigel WW
    Steve WW

    The Dead

    DAY 1

    Mary was munched.
Frank WW was Killed. - Flavour ?
    Katie WW was Lynched.
Note: Wendy said Jeff tried to kill her and failed so missed kill day 2

    DAY 2

Wendy WW was killed. - Killed ? Spelling typo from Mods as every other morning munch is munch . .
    Oisin WW was modkilled.
Tegan WW was shot dead. - Clodagh said "blackmail power"
Desmond was shot dead. - Vig - Clodagh
    Doris was Lynched.

    Day 3

    Barbara was munched.
Clodagh was Poisoned - Jeff I presume ?
    Liam was lynched

Clodagh was poisoned around the time she was going in hard on Winnie. She also wanted Eva Lynched the night before. Eva went in hard to defend Winnie. . This is all just the facts, with no context.

If Clodagh was telling the truth then blackmailing was forcing somebody to shoot somebody then the OP suggests that was his power:

Charles is a very powerful individual and has the option to blackmail another player at a time of his choosing.

Maybe others can correct me but would the phrasing not be "has the option to blackmail players at the time of his choosing"? Also, if he blackmailed Brendan to shoot Teagan he couldn't of sent a note (to me I think) that day as well surely. .

Irene is sent away. So are we happy that she is effectively a lone wolf who peaks good and has no other power other then she can return to base ? That seems like enough powers (a wolf that peaks good all game)

Jeff Hope: Gets an extra kill supposedly. We presume it was Wendy and Clodagh (I'm not saying it wasn't, just being clear). Wendy supposedly had a 50/50 shot with the pill, what happened with Clodagh ?

So we have Moriarty who looks fairly straight forward. Peeks players. . Does anybody think he has an extra power ?

And lastly the most likely to be Winnie (I think) is Euros. .

Her speciality is reprogramming the human brain...
Eurus acts as a double parity count for the Werewolves of London.

The first part would fit in with sending notes/manipulation , but how does the second part compliment or fit in with that ?
