Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Was in Belfast international all day yesterday. Flight delayed because of nose wheel issue. Finally reboarded at 17.30.

Then flight crew mess about until 6pm and announce they are out of hours.

People saying you can't apply for eu 261 on the website flight not listed.

I suspect it's because the flight wasn't cancelled due to technical fault but crew out of hours.

In airport now and delayed again grrrrrr.

So can I apply for eu261 or ryanair screwed us.

Ring the commission for Airline regulation, they will be able to send you confirmation of the delay

If delay > 3 hrs, you should in theory be eligigle for 250E pax

Commission for Aviation Regulation is Republic of Ireland.
It is the UK equivalent they need to contact.

Even better, the UK CAA have said you can write to them directly if you have any problems claiming...

Commission for Aviation Regulation Ireland. will supply prooof of land landing

If RY dont pay the EU261, you would then need to contact UK body

Is there a similar link for Aer Lingus? Having trouble finding anything other than there disrupted flight form which is a refund of the fare.

Did Ryanair resolve this or did you have to go through the aviation authority ?

My family's experience too. In fact they emailed us the day after the flight delay and invited us to send in the claim. Payment arrived 10 days later.

    Full marks to Ryanair.
