    Hey All,

I am hoping the more learned amongst you might be able to point me towards where I can lay my hands on a Judgement from the above Court?

I am curious as to circumstances of a quashed conviction and a direction not to re-try.
Courts .ie only have Appeals Court judgements from 2004 and the CCC judgements are only from 2007.

Original case was 2001, and appeal 2003.
Any info on where I can get the judgements would be very much appreciated.

There may not have been a written judgement at all. If there is a written judgement, the Courts service may have it but they will charge for a copy. Justis.Com has numerous judgements from the Court of Criminal Appeal and you may find it there.

It is the State versus Paul Farrell.
Original conviction was 23/7/2001 for 2 counts of indecent assault.
Conviction was quashed on 25/11/2003 with a direction not to retry.

I'm curious as to what error in law and jury direction occurred in the original trial along with the direction no to retry?
