Throttle reset on a Nissan (Dublin)?

    Hi lads,

Just serviced a 2008 Nissan Tiida. After cleaning the throttle body, the car runs like a pig. It's idling at 2-4k rpm.

We've had this problem before with a Micra, and had someone with Nissan diagnostics who could plug in and reset the throttle position sensor. But unfortunately that guy doesn't work anymore.

Would anyone have or know of any nissan lads around Dublin who could reset this and not charge a small fortune?

    Thanks for any help.

I am open to this but maybe the ECU just needs to re-learn, can car be driven?

Car can be driven, but throttle definitely needs a reset. The Tiida is well known for this problem. It is not something that the ECU will relearn unfortunately!
