My daughter bought a twingo a few months and has only recently started to drive it as she has just sorted her insurance. There was an issue with the accelerater and the dealer replaced the throttle assembly. Now that she has started to drive it we have noticed when it is idle t hbe RPM is normal but when we are driving, in 5th gear at 100kmph the RPM is up at 3000. Is this normal? Thanks all.

    Sounds normal enough to me.

Here's a video of someone driving at that speed with the same RPM:

This is simply due to the gearbox installed, it's a city car after all and doesn't have too high a gear ratio at the top end.

Thank you. It makes sense but just wanted to check.
