I think Whelan's do a black pudding version also - I preferred the white pudding one though.
I like the nakedblondie sausages - 1 syn for 3. The Hodgins low fat sausage is also nice - think they are 1 syn each. Unfortunately I am yet to find the holy grail - a Superquinn sausage for 1 syn!

Is the EatLean cheese vegan cheese? If so, I wonder about the smell and taste! I use the Philadelphia Lightest a lot! I use it in pasta dishes, to make sauces, etc. and it is 110g for your HEA or 5 syns.

    I can't see that's it's a vegan cheese. It says it's made on a dairy farm.

With "lentils" as the choice on the calculator it's 4.5 for the pudding. Which is really good. (Again, I'm not great with the calculator, I prefer when i can just search stuff!)

I have tried the Eat Lean cheese - tbh it is very, very rubbery, almost translucent and not a strong cheese flavour at all.

Just for comparison what do you think of the extra light laughing cow, taste-wise?

I'm thinking of changing my group, my consultant is lovely but I just don't find the same friendliness and group feel as it had before. Plus there are some people who just talk over everyone else. Plus there is a group jist across the road from my work now instead of a trek across town. Will see, I go on holiday this week so will decide when I get back, maybe try out the other first.

Def give the new one a go, there's nothing to lose finding out if it's better or worse! Keep us updated :)

Oh I like it, definitely more cheesy than the eat lean imo (though they are obviously very different textures). Babybel light would be much softer and cheesier in flavour too. I also found that it did not melt great in slices at any rate, could be better grated.

This picture kind of captures the rubbery, plasticy texture:

The pictures don't sell it for me! I'll be using it grated on my salad and if needed in the evening on my bolognaise or whatever dinner. I'll buy one block and give it a go.
I went to Aldi on my lunch break yesterday and bought the sausages and some lean burgers. I think the burgers at 1 syn each. They're the 5% fat ones and had a green "leaner option" sticker.
I'm on day 4 of my SP week and I'm doing good!
I'm going to a baby shower tonight but I'm gonna have a dinner before I go and just snack on fruit when I'm there. I'll have the car with me to no drinking!
For the weekend I have stuff in for my healthy fry which fills me for most of Saturday.
If I go to the cinema I'm going to buy a tub of Halo Top or Breyers and eat the whole thing.
I tried bringing packs of ham and chicken in (which I love) but I became aware they there's a strong smell of them and I felt a bit strange.
Sunday my gym is hosting a wellness day so I'm going to that and see if I get any nice ideas!

I buy these & cut them into 4 or 6 pieces & roll into little meatballs!

That's a fantastic idea! I bought a few packs and threw them in to the freezer. Handy to have in instead for those days (most days) when I come home from work and realise I've no food in the house!

I do the same, they are so handy!
Aldi used to do 5% meatballs but I haven't seen them is 6+ months, any time I ask staff they haven't a clue & just point to regular meatballs.

Sounds like everyone who works in retail! I can say this since I used to work in Lidl ;)
I remember being so angry when Lidl stopped stocking ground almonds for a while and I had no one to take my frustrations out on since I worked there!

The low fat lean burgers in Dunnes are free, and quite tasty!
M&S do 5% meatballs but can be pricey!

These are the puddings. Both black and white are 2.5syns for the whole lot. 2 euro each

Down 1.5 today. After my bizarre 9 pound loss, I had a 2.5 pound gain last week. I don’t feel I deserved either that loss or that gain so I just think I was going through an odd time. Feel like I’m back on an even keel again and was very happy with today’s result.

Maybe it's your body just sorting out itself, adjusting to SW and resetting what it expects? That's a wild swing but glad to hear it feels even again :)

I'd a similar 'i don't deserve either' experience recently - I was furious last week with a half pound gain despite me having 10 syns every day. I put it down to general flux and racing to get my syns up (eg popcorn before bed!). This week and last I've resolved to drink at least 2L a day (and not eat right before bedtime) and saw a great loss last week, -4.5lb!

    Hey guys,

Anyone know if there's a group around the sandyford area in the evenings. I think I see on for Thursday mornings but I can't get to those with work.

There are also two morning sessions on a Thursday in Naomh Olaf's run by the same woman, yes.

Guys what sausages do you eat?
I recently discovered Tesco reduced fat saussies are actually huge in syns (5 each) :( So they're being sidelined for post-weigh-in meals!

I had some chicken sausages yesterday from Lidl, and they were quite nice!

I'm a big mallons low fat gluten free sausage fan although I know a lot of people don't like them. Great if they're fried, terrible grilled, oven cooked or done in an air fryer.

I tired the Aldi Brannans low fat sausages over the weekend. Half a syn each. They were ok. I just oven cooked them. It's how I do all my sausages. I've tried frying them with the spray but then the pan starts smoking and the fire alarms go off...then one of my dogs howls and the other runs away... Anyways, easier for me to over cook them ;)

Down one pound last night. Once again, delighted with my new group and that I made the change!

Thanks guys! I've never had chicken sausages so I'll check 'em next time i'm in Lidl.

Got my 4 stone award today! ...So I went straight to the 5 syn saussies, lol. Horsed them faster than usual!

This week I learned not to be so harsh on myself. To remember that I've lost 4 stone 7.5 pounds and to be kinder to myself.
I'm going to fill out a for and against list my consultant gave me to help me remember why I started this journey and what I'm doing to stop myself reaching my goal, (doubt, self sabotage etc). So tonight I'm going to put aside some me time and really think about it.
My "why am I doing this" list has changed drastically.
Since beginning my journey I've gone from a 22/14 to a 14 jeans. I've grown actual bicep and triceps muscles (thanks to my lovely trainer).
I can run (albeit for a short distance). Also, I can appreciate that I'm pretty and attractive, something I would have never said about myself at 17 stone 12 pounds. When someone looks at me now I don't think it's because of my size, I think it might be because I look confident.
So I have to look at what's going to motivate me to lose my final 2 and a bit stone.
I came out of last nights class feeling so good about the week ahead.

Oh also this week, I've been making everyone at home and at work uncomfortable by forcing them all to feel my arms :D
This having muscles craic is very new to me!
