Dear IW, I recently bought a new washer/dryer. It isn't working correctly as it is not getting enough water in to the machine. Before I go to the expensive I hiring a plumber, can you tell me if there are any known issues with water pressure in the Balbriggan area? I live in a development called Clonuske off Hamlet Lane.

    Kind Regards

    Hi dakan,

    Thanks for getting in touch.

We currently have no notice of works for the Balbriggan area that could affect your supply. Would you mind advising if your cold kitchen tap is affected?

    Kind regards,
    Alex

    Hi Alex

the water pressure in the cold tap doesn't seem to be any weaker than usual.
Thanks for getting back to me.

    Hi dakan,

Thank you for letting us know.

As this matter is not affecting your cold kitchen tap, it would appear to be an internal fault and may be a result of an airlock in your system. You can find out more on how to resolve this on wtr.ie/Airlocks, and if this doesn't help, you might have to consult a plumber.

We hope that this information helps and please feel free to contact us again, should you have any further queries.

    Thanks,
    Alex
