telling us all the things versatis does not do, almost like a placebo he is describing  .

I said it before, order a container load of patches with versatis logo on it from china that do nothing, and hand them out on the medical card

Just tuned in and thought it was April again, Versatis round 10...Duffy won't drop this.

"Being passed out by people on zimmerframes"...maybe she should ask the people on zimmerframes how they managed DER Pay-in.

    What's the point here

The Taoiseach and the Minister for Health showed up Joe in de Doyle to be a uninformed rabble rouser and he's never going to forget it or let it go.

    Joe sneering at Prof Barry!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 53,028 ✭✭✭✭ButtersSuki

Joe's mickey mouse and out-dated degree in social studies over-rides a Professor of Medicine's opinion on drug efficacy.

Honestly, RTE are permitting their staff member (who has no experience or qualifications) to advocate on behalf of a drug for particular illnesses, in contradiction to the highly qualified medical staff who have decided that it is not appropriate. Are RTE prepared to pick up the tab if there are any injuries as a result of this? What is next, Ray D'Arcy advising surgeons on how to carry out heart surgery?

There is a lot of truth about NSAIDs being only a short term, if effective, solution to pain. Personally I cannot take them specifically as I’ve had half my guts removed for IBD and they have a drastic effect on me.

I said it before - this is a campaign that I would suspect is being organised and funded (likely through a 3rd Party such as a Patient Association or a PR Agency) by the MANUFACTURER'S of this drug.
