It's all subjective really though? If this scene was in Australia, it would probably be a national monument with a mad name like 'the lonesome bollock' or sumsuch.

Must say I got a right good laugh out of that :o

Connemara National Park and out around Kylemore Abbey are awe-inspiring on a sunny day

    co Waterford is beautiful.
Below was taken from a road a bit up the Comeraghs, looking at the Knockmealdowns above the inverted clouds, and the line of mountains clearly visible at the back right are the Galtees.

This is taken from the banks of the Blackwater, just a little bit up from Youghal, and looking up towards the Knockmealdowns.

... and the coast of course is full of little deserted coves and cliffs, just as beautiful as the more famous coasts in Ireland. This is Goat Island, a little cove just West of Ardmore, co Waterford.

Achill Island, and the drive to Keam Beach with the spectacular walk along Croaghaun sea cliffs nearby. The cliffs are 3rd highest in Europe, and highest in Ireland, breathtaking scenery.

On top of Slievenamon looking over the Comeragh mountains and the Vee out past Ardfinnan on the Waterford Tipperary border is a great place to see the sunset and especially the sun rise

I dont3get away much but I like driving through the Barnesmore gap in Donegal (a county I'd like to see more of tbh) and the Conner pass in Kerry. From a very scenic area myself but familiarity breeds etc.

Ran the Dingle marathon on Saturday. The views are incredible, the half and the full are the same route and the half marathon there ranks in the top ten in the world for scenery. Goes right around the peninsula. Amazing views

The North Antrim coast has great beaches, a castle dangling on the edge of a cliff, Giants causeway and a ropebridge 100 feet above the rocks.

Moving away from more well known attractions on the coast

Bluestack mountains in Donegal. Particularly the Poison Glen.

the view out over the islands and Magheraroarty beach towards Tory.

Poison glen is in the derryveagh mountains, not bluestacks. Here it is:

To add my own, specific example, the panoramic view of the north atlantic and north donegal mountains coming down to the 3rd green on cruit island golf club.
    Glorious

The Beara Peninsula is absolutely beautiful in parts, the crown jewel probably being the Healy Pass.
