TV STAR TS-4000 scanning problem?

    I hope someone here can help please?

    My TV STAR TS-4000 satellite fta box started acting up yesterday.

    When I switched it on it had reverted to set-up mode for no apparent reason?!

    I've run through the scan mode several times but it won't scan higher than around 67% and then goes out of the scan mode and restarts again?!

    Any ideas guys?
    I don't know how old it is (came with the house).

    We had one of those in work until recently, it became very slow to start and unreliable. We got ours through Freetv.ie, about 5-6 years ago, it was used every day so we got our monies worth.
