There should be a club for Mé Feiners. Could you imagine the parties and meetings!

    Parking would be a nightmare.

I said that ages ago that's whoy Duffy wouldn't run. That and the fact that he'd be required for more than 75mins a day.

They're complaining that the person with the disability is not getting out of the car. I don't think that's actually illegal, though it does make sense that they wouldn't use the space in that situation. There's far worse abuses of the disabled badges than that, namely using a space when the disabled person isn't in the car, and that is illegal.
Afaik, it's allowed to use a disabled badge / space if you're driving the car for the holder and on a vital errand for them, like picking up pharmaceutical supplies and that kind of thing.
Problem is, most take that to mean they can swan down to the supermarket and do a month's shopping on their rellie's badge.

By the sounds of it he won’t be taking Lisa’s space up for much longer, so she need have little worry. Hope his hearse doesn’t inconvenience her in any way as it passes by her territory.

I'm pretty sure the holder of the badge has to be in the car at the time.

I agree. I don't buy what she said about getting out of the car. He could pull in to the disabled parking spot to have a drink of water, to take a tablet/ inhaler, take a very important phonecall etc. without exiting his vehicle. I could be wrong.

She’s a right **t** in real life, one to join the Mé Fein club for sure the way she has treated people.

But but Lisa is ENTITLED to that space as she campaigned for it for two years.

Probably according to the strict interpretation of the rules. Otoh, if people didn't take the pyss and the car was genuinely being used for a drug run of some urgency, there would hardly be a copper in the land that would issue a ticket.
Once again, we see the greedy and thoughtless bastards fecking it up for everybody else.

Joe seems bored, even with all the death. Perhaps they died too fast, not enough disease or suffering

Up North they are extremely strict re disabled parking. I brought my completely disabled 89 year old mother to a hotel in Portrush and there was also another disabled wheelchair user staying in hotel. We both used the disabled spaces in front of hotel. However both of our disabled badges had expired by less than two months and were both given parking tickets. Had to pay it as it was a hire car.

Well she told us often enough how she 'lobbied' for those spaces...and fair dues to her.

I fear it'll be first come first served in this instance like every other disabled spot.

If it still causes aggro...they will have to bring in a traffic light colour coded system ( TLCCS)

Red - vaguely unwell but clever enough to cry the poor mouth and garner a disabled batch.

Amber - A little bit disabled.

    Green - Genuinely disabled.
