Would love to see Stowman turn heel and align with the Authors of Pain vs the shield but sadly it will probably be with Ziggler and Mcintyre.

You had my attention at Strowman & AOP vs The Shield, but then my interest nosedived once you tacked on Ziggler & McIntyre, not that I've anything against McIntyre, he can and should do a whole lot better than ****ing Ziggler.

With the 10 year Saudi deal and probably more shows like the big Aussie one, I wonder if we're gonna be seeing Taker 3 or 4 times a year in "last ever" matches to sell them.

Shield did come across as heelish. From wearing the all black gear instead of what they were wearing earlier to their actions and grin on Reigns' face. Seemed planned as well which comes across as a heelish move

Steph taking credit for Ronda's championship win, nothing new there..

    **** OFF STEPHANIE.

Nice to see the shield back again and this is the one we all loved (well some of us loved them). I hope they have a don't give a **** attitude and destroy everything in front of them. Please god one of them doesn't get hurt and the whole thing goes tits up again. Generally excited about all of this. Confusing about who is face/heel in the whole shield vs Braun thing ??

Titus worldwide days could be numoured ???. Apollo and Dana to turn on Titus

Poor Angle gone on a forced holiday and Corbin is now stand in GM.

This was quite obviously as a heel at least though, and she got comeuppance.

It's far more grating when she turns face to tell us how great the women are and take credit for it!

Given they had Braun side with Ziggler and McIntyre that makes it clear they want Braun as the heel.

Terrible booking by WWE they had a monster face in Braun who the crowd wants to get behind. Instead we’ll cheer Roman and we’ll like it!!

Shocking booking and no doubt Braun will lose his cash in attempt.

Also good to see they’re back flip flopping with Finn’s booking. Strong one week buried the next. And Kevin Owens I quit angle is obviously going no where as they are advertising him for the poxy Supershow.

    Boring WWE you’re boring.

WWE sacrificed Becky in a desperate bid to get Charlotte over. WWE sacrifice Braun to get Roman over.

At some stage, they might consider writing reasons to get behind the "good guy", rather than reasons NOT to get behind the fan favourite .

Vince doesn't have to push who you want to push. business is great. they're the only game in town.

    it just doesn't matter.

there's no point in actually getting that upset anymore. it's pointless. it's all about branding.

    it's not about the talent.
it's not about who can actually get over best.
it's not about about who the fans actually like, and who they don't.
    it's not about you.

    it's about Vince.
    it's about his ego.
it's about him wrestling with his mortality and Roman Reigns being his last great project - his last talent that can transcend the entertainment industry.

Vince has looked at his bank balance, looked at his company's worth, looked at the guaranteed revenue from TV, and said fúck it. I'm going to do what i fúcking want. I think Roman Reigns is fúcking mouthwatering, so fúck you. you're going to take him in the ass. you can like Braun all you want. but i say he's a monster. i say he's a big fúcking ugly man who you should want my guy to beat. so fúck you.

and it's transferred to Charlotte now too.

it's just Vince saying, 'this is my company, and I want to do what I want to do before I get too old and I'm told to go home'. and he doesn't have to care, because there's no competition to worry about.

    just accept it.

Lesnars just about gone. They need a heel on Raw.

Roman would be an excellent heel.

    they know.

they're great at booking heels. they can't book babyfaces though. that's their issue.

To flip the coin.... every wrestler out there now knows the deal with WWE now or should do at this stage. If I look at the likes of Owens I honestly see someone who is happy with his lot and plays the role he's asked to.

So do I feel sorry for the likes of him and Finn? The answer is no because I don't think they feel sorry for themselves. They're willing cogs in the machine.

i'd take the pay cheque WWE offer.

it's just frustrating as a viewer, when some great, emotive stories and angles could be pursued, but they aren't because the guy in charge is obsessed with his idea of what he wants the audience to like.

It's best that Owens goes away for a while, I think. That "feud" with Strowman damaged him a lot. Asking to be friends and then being Strowman's ragdoll for about two months. Wouldn't even be surprised if he's injured/beat up looking at the bumps he's taken during it. Off the ladder, off the cage, chokeslam on the ramp.

The MITB was wasted on Strowman, it shows how they don’t plan things at all and take it week by week and its such a waste

I imagine Shawn Michaels is appearing on Raw to hype the taker vs Triple H match in Melbourne ???

I really hope he's not returning to the ring, it would be cool but no the retirement at mania 26 was fitting and it would be a shame to tarnish it

I'm more interested in Dana and Apollo's blossoming romance than I am in the Universal title scene.

Strowman is just a merch catchphrase now "Monster in the bank" "Get these hands" Feck off.
Roman is Roman, painfully tryhard in every syllable that exits his mouth.
Ziggler? Don't get me started on him.
McIntyre is the only interesting guy and that interest is rapidly decreasing with his continued association to Ziggler.

Yea he's just there to promote the Taker HHH match. Michaels has state time after time he'll never come out of retirement.

I agree turning Braun is completely pointless.

So after talking so much about how they're undefeated, The B Team are beaten on an episode of Raw. Their first loss should've been losing the titles.

Hearing Nikki talk on this made me realise how accurate Maryse's impression of her was.
Why is it when a group of women stand together in WWE, in the ring, it looks so awkward yet when guys stand there they usually look like they belong there?

Corbin telling Lashley about his match backstage sounded like he was auditioning for Pimp My Ride. "I hear you like matches so I got you one".

Did Titus tell Dana to put on her big girl bra?

They need a heel. Hes a bog standard big angry shouty guy. He'll do for the moment.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 30,076 ✭✭✭✭CastorTroy

But if they were turning him, why not have him cash in after the match since it's more of a heel move than a scheduled match? Because they knew he would be cheered for doing it. And that's why they had him hand over the contract earlier.

Owens would make a good GM or commentator if they wanted to do something different with him. Couldn't help but roll my eyes when he said "I Quit" as it means about as much as a Terry Funk retirement.
I'd comment on the Bella's being naturally unlikeable but I don't want WWE to say that's intentional given their haphazard & revisionist booking of late.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 30,076 ✭✭✭✭CastorTroy

When Trish said to Elias about how she was "lacing up these boots" I was thinking it would be interesting to see her wrestle in the boots she was wearing.

All WWE "quitings" to me are always rated on the little Dave Batista scale. That was an all time classic quiting.
