So last night all but confirmed that Shawn Michaels is coming out of retirement to face The Undertaker? That's what I strongly picked up on.

More likely he'll pop up at the supershow to try and help Taker win.

But by God, did that feel like they were building to one more match for Shawn. Don't think it would HAVE to be against Taker either; they'd need a segment where Taker gives Shawn his blessing, but I think the line about people beating down his door every Mania sets up anyone really.

Or they could do Shield vs Taker/Shawn/HHH at Mania....

That could work well provided Shawn is in shape and neither of the Shield end up sidelined throughout Mania season.

I think shawn is in better shape now then when he retired.

For match i had no intrest in theyve done 2 great promos from trips and last night with shawn/taker to make me intrested in it.

Gut feeling says shawn costs taker the match and nothing happens from it

I dont see HBK coming back but after last night im not as convinced as i was, i hope he stays retired, no need for him to come back especially if it involves Undertaker.

He said in vicar st and in many other interviews he will not come out of retirement but having a feel Trips was talking with him and $$$$ was offered to him (prob saying turning down all the money was for storyline)

Hopefully not. I thought the segment was crap anyway as Takers promos always devolve into the same thing, where he questions if someone is man enough to take him on. The second I heard about it I knew it would be the longest video on their YT channel and sure enough it was.

Lol..... Two oul lads getting the spotlight.

When I saw the botched suicide dive, all I could think of was this, spotted on Facebook.

Raw kept my attention last night and I am actually interested in what they will do next. That said...

If I analyse things at all it is a little annoying. Like Finn running out with the roster getting taken out by one Ambrose strike upon his arrival and then becoming one of the crowd before later being put in the main event vs Braun w/Backup. Thats one thing of many many things that could be picked up upon throughout the show like why have the 205live GM with AOP or suddenly team Roode & Gable but we shouldn't reeally analyse it that much. Instead we should think that it's good AOP and both those boys all of whom I like are being given something to do on the show, seem like they are getting a direction / push of sorts and that it isn't boring. Same with the main event, I know its them turning Braun heel unnecesarily just to stack the decks against Roman (who always gets mentioned first before the rest of the shield) but it was different and interesting seeing him, McIntyre & Ziggler and the rest of the heels all team up to end the show. Plus even if it's with Ziggler I like seeing McIntyre getting a good position and the tag division on Raw had died recently.

The thing with AoP is strange since they fired Paul Ellering saying they didn't need him, yet they go and get someone else who had never helped them in the past

    He didn't wanna travel apparently.

Thought building up AOP the same night Drew / Ziggler won the belts weird

That's what I thought as well. Just their usual scattered brained approach towards storytelling.

I'm actually OK in itself with Dolph and Drew winning the titles as that's where I thought it would kind of go when they put them together. Actually what I thought was that they'd really push Drew and Dolph to the moon where they'd have the Diesel/HBK dominance of having all the titles eventually but how and ever.

But building AOP on the same night.... Non sensical. Just reinforces they don't really give a crap outside of the "main storyline of the evening".

AOP now wuth a puny manager wearing what is effectively Shield gear is silly looking anyway.

If Rollins is in fact out for a few months with his arm gash (similar to when Goldberg injured his arm in WCW) than there's a curse on shield reunions

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,846 ✭✭✭SureYWouldntYa

    Good

In the sense that maybe for the 3rd reunion it'll be for a proper reason, Rollins being injured is really crap for him

A Dean Ambrose attack as his heel turn would be a good direction, then send him off to SD to keep him and Reigns apart and you'll eventually get to the Shield triple threat Wrestlemania main event

But the Shield returns has been to stop Miz and Strowman, not a 3 man team in the Shield mould, imagine a super smug Undisputed Era ruling on the main roster before the only ones who can save WWE is the Shield, something along those lines is how a Shield reunion should be done

Is Rollins' injury confirmed? Seen nothing about it online.

Swap one token for another? You think it's to push this Evolution show they've got coming up but never mention?

So at least some good came out of this Serena Williams debacle. Don’t pretend like it didn’t influence it. :D

I always check out the opening segment of Raw. Ziggler's music hits, stream closed immediately. Might be the quickest ever I checked out. I cannot stand that guy.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,325 ✭✭✭✭PTH2009

so all the heel guys are sideing with Braun, Ziggler and drew and i imagine some of the faces will side with the shield ???

With Renee on commentary now its going to be awkward whens she commentating on her own husbands matches/segments. I imagine she maybe a verbal target for future Ambrose opponents ??

Hadn't realized going in that we were at the go-home show for HiaC.

There's a real chance that this time next week, The Shield hold all the men's gold on Raw. Not that you'd know Seth and Roman are champions given they never carry their belts :P

Like the idea of Foley being the ref, and he looked in the best shape I've seen him in for a while. But I wish they had more of a time with him. It feels very much like a last minute decision.
