I've never watched any videos of people either dying or being killed. I've cleaned up after a lad shot himself with a burst of automatic fire and I've recovered burnt bodies also dealt with severe injuries and accidents

There was ( probably still is ) a video of a very gory suicide. Thing is, in real life I attended a very similar tragedy. There was nothing entertaining , nothing educational nothing but abject and utter misery for the relatives and the witnesses involved and a deep sadness for my crew when we finished that day. You deal with stuff like that if it crosses your path but should anyone be looking for it? I am not sure that is healthy.

I don't work at any of that stuff anymore . It doesn't cross my mind except where I see threads like this.

I've absolutely no doubt that there are other soldiers and emergency workers who've seen ten times more and ten times worse than I've seen but I'd bet none of them go looking for videos.

Do your selves a favour - mind your mental health and if you are being drawn to this stuff have a good talk with yourself and seek help if you need it.

That's just my opinion - it is neither qualified nor educated so make of it what you will.

None of this is new, humans have been doing awful things to other humans for eons now. It's enough for me just to read about the horrors in the world without actually seeking it out on a live feed to watch atrocities being committed against humans in real time.

In fairness to liveleaks it might be distasteful at times but its not specialising in anything in particular all it’s doing is bringing this atrocity to light besides there’s a warning for that sort of content.

There’s a lot of vermin commiting all manner of murders which are documented elsewhere but when it’s those in authority giving the go ahead for such an instance of ethnic cleansing it’s still hard to get your head around... sure it’s always been happening but that doesn’t make it any less shocking.

Once or twice in my life iv accidently seen the start of these types of videos as someone with poor taste has sent it to a football wats ap group or something like that ,

And I can safely say the feeling I get for them makes me think humans are designed to be compassionate , It turn's my stomach and i almost feel like I have some how betrayed the poor person's soul by seeing the horrendous act.
It's like my human reaction to find it revolting and wrong and in a way that makes me feel a bit better that humans are not made to see this kind of suffering of other humans, ( although life events could turn someone nub to it )
I just find people who like watching these or who share them are sick and have serious issues,

An in law married a guy I would say being polite is absent of morals and empathy. He shows extremely violent clips to people all the time and laughs about what happens in the videos and people's reactions. His 15 year old son also does this.
You have to be some kind of sicko to laugh at this stuff but to teach your child it is OK and allow access to it is another level.

I think there's a big difference between a lack of empathy and actually getting a kick out of seeing people hurt or killed - that's a much more disturbing trait in anybody.

Ok I thought, I think many of them are staged and I've been numbed already with all the death and suffering in the news. The video is short but you can see 2 scum with ak's leading two women away to be shot. One woman is holding her little girl by the hand while the other one has her maybe 2 year old boy strapped on her back. The man hits her in the face while leading her. Once at the place they make them kneel down and one of them puts the little girls shirt over her head while the other woman is lying down on her side. Then the subhumans unleash a volley of bullets at the children and the women and you can see the blood coming out after about 10 seconds. I think I've been desensitised already by all the reports and isis beheadings but I've never felt my heart sink so deep. I was absolutely enraged and would tear apart the scum who did this.
As the song goes and I tell to myself, what a wonderful world.
I think I've been traumatised by this and I have the images of the little boy stuck in my head and can't get them out. I hope this passes in a few days but I know that I hate this world.

I've known people like you over the years, thought they were hard and felt the need to prove it at every opportunity (some of them actually were, some were just deluded gobshítes) But each and everyone was, and very probably still, is a prize winning knob end. I had to completely sever connections with a good friend of mine over this very thing, he'd pick a row in a fúcking phone box - can't for the life of me see what he got out of it (apart from regular hidings!) And he was a genuinely tough cúnt....... there's just always someone tougher if you look hard enough.

I doubt very much you actually look though, you're the type to pick your rows from the safety of your bedroom I'd say.
