GLS Damaged Parcel/ Missing contents

    Hi there

    I couriered a parcel yesterday to someone I used to sell electronics to on adverts.ie but he know just deals with me via WhatsApp now. The courier damaged the parcel and some of the contents are missing, so I am wondering what liability if any lies with me or the courier. I used a shipping box and sealed it using masking tape so I'm not sure how it got so badly damaged. The guy sent me whatsapp photos and it looks like the parcel was thrown around and used as a football!

    Any clarification would be helpful, thanks
