    Hi Guys

    2009 Nissan Qashqai 1.5dci

Back again with yet another issue with the Qashqai. This time my wife tells me here front drivers side window will not go up or down. So on checking this myself i flip the switch and hear the motor kicking on but window will not move.

Without opening the door panel because of bad weather and no where dry to open it can anyone give me a heads up if you had same issue and what was cause and fix.

From research i see it could be the window regulator is gone. If this is the case i also see repair kits which are a lot cheaper then the full replacement can anyone recommend best for this repair kit or replacement. Is this something i can do myself or will i need a mechanic to do what would the costs be. As i like seeing videos on how to repair and if i think its something i can do myself i will do it but its hard to find anything on the qashqai for this.

    Thanks for help.
    John

Just to update was in with mechanic last week and the car needs a regulator as gears are broken i think he said. Also need new rear bearing and drive shaft seal all just to pass nct. God the cost adding up this year with this car. Oh and a vibration when breaking from speed so warped disc or sticking caliper. All Discs and pads have been done in the last year and a caliper drop link and front bearing with full service it all adds up 158k km
