So, I’m on the lookout for a single rotar rake that will pull a 10ft swart of grass tight to the next swart.
I’m wondering is a 4.2 meter rake too wide for that job.

I used to use a 4.7m one for that

But wouldn’t that be pulling two rows of grass,? I just wanted to pull one row and not disturb the next one.

It's better to give all rows a lift. Easier for tbe baler to lift and you'll have a cleaner field.

3.70 meter would do the job grand.no need for the bigger width if only moving a ten foot swath

We’ve a 4.2 kuhn and you’d need most of it to rake 3 light 10’s into one narrow enough for the baler. You’d think it’s too wide but it can surprise you.

Class have a model 370, the spec say 3.7 meter working width, yet the actual rotar diameter is only 2.9 meters.

Are you talking about bringing 3 10’s in the one run down the field together, or down one side of the Centre row and up the other..?

They measure from the edge of the rotor to the curtain
