The forecast is rain in morning but to clear up around lunchtime. Divine intervention maybe haha

Sure wouldn't divine intervention stop the rain altogether?

No-we need rain don’t we? Remember-the reservoirs are still low

But then again it would be nicer if it was dry for the main event itself tomorrow

You seem rather fragile for someone calling others 'snowflakes'.

I don't see anyone trying to stop people travelling or access the Phoenix park to see the pope (the way the 8th amendment affected my rights to choose abortion or not for my body)

What are you on about killing unborn babies?? Why no arrests for these killings??

Yea but you don't have kids. You need to actually have someone to pro create with.

Could God not hold it off tomorrow so the faithful wouldn't have to trudge through the rain? Rain on the double Monday. Dry faithful Sunday, reservoirs sorted Monday.

Plenty of men women and children were raped by Catholic Church.

No problem with the outrage and wanting justice.

It's another to try and lead from a win win situation for him.

It's not just today which has seem people see him on another life.

But if you want twist it to make me look like I love some rape (especially after all my posts on the topic down the years here) that's really nothing I can change. Throw me on ignore sure.

Mod: Don't post in the pope threads again.

    Some people, wow.

Personally, I'm just surprised that such a relatively small amount of people are exercising that choice. Maybe it'll be different tomorrow, but it pales in comparison with 1979. It's quite striking.

How can any rational person be surprised at the drop off in the church?

Forget about the abuse scandals.....wealth and the easy lives many lead mean the sacrifice of contributing and following a church is laughed at.

I was travelling around Dublin today and am genuinely shocked at the turnout which I think was impressive. Plenty will not go to the City centre and will go straight to Drumcondra/Croker.

At least the Pope of Rome said he is ashamed, that is a start I suppose. Keep him in the South.

OOOhhh, you are controversial. A few strong words to get noticed and make yourself the thread protagonist.

Your understanding of abortion makes you a laughing stock

True but it's still possible to have manners and some respect to others even if you disagree.
