Faster way to get phone activation code

Hi, Recently I got a replacement sim card (not a new number). I tried to add a payee to my account and found that there was a problem with my number. I phoned customer service and they talked me through fixing it. Now I'm told that it will take 4-7 business days to get the activation code. Is there any way to speed this up…

Hi,

Recently I got a replacement sim card (not a new number). I tried to add a payee to my account and found that there was a problem with my number. I phoned customer service and they talked me through fixing it. Now I'm told that it will take 4-7 business days to get the activation code.

Is there any way to speed this up or at least a way to confirm the payee without my phone? I kind of need to get this done ASAP and it could be another week before I receive my activation code.

If you call into a Bank of Ireland branch with photo ID, our staff will be able to activate the mobile phone for you.
We're sorry the activation process wasn't as smooth as we'd hope.
