Hello, I am in my 20s and have not been employed ever but have been told that the Christmas time will be the easiest to find a part time minimum wage job.

I have heard that they are looking for these jobs now? How come? If I get accepted in a weeks time after an interview, do they train me and then leave me until December?

A lot of college students will be looking for part time work now, shops will hire in September to prepare for Christmas, probably giving you weekend shifts etc before the big rush from November on.

Is the pay better than at other times of the year?

Where did you see it just in case? I don't think they have an Irish website so you can't apply online.

Most hire around September/October and you start working at the start of November until Christmas Eve or start of January.

I saw your other posts, and I can see you're struggling with depression and getting a start in life.

Have you considered doing something nice like working as a gardener?

Go to https://www.jobsireland.ie and search for gardener. Unfortunately their website is terrible and doesn't allow me to link to any jobs.

    Good luck.
