Looking at the PC being on the train, it might be possible early game trains can be used to get around the city until you can afford to buy a car. Or stations could be used as fast travel locations, actually similar to the Witcher 3 where you could only fast travel from a travel point to another travel point. I liked that, means you didn't just fast travel all over the map and actually had to traverse it.

Either way i have a feeling the car won't be as vital to get around the map as say Roach was in the Witcher. I have a feeling there will be loads of back alleys and path ways in the game that won't be open to car travel

So these are the specs of the PC running the press demo at E3;

Hard to draw any conclusions without knowing the res and framerate, but I've seen a few sites opine it was 4K locked at 30 FPS.

Yeah, at least attainable, although I've since seen others who saw the demo reckon it was running at only 1080P (including the AMA on Reddit guy). Still, plenty of optimising to be done, and sure we may have new hardware by the time it's released.

The specs used for the demo don't say much about how well the game will run. It's still in development and even if it was really well optimised even now, they'd still bring a monster of a machine with them. Why? Because it's a demo machine and they're a multi-million company. They do not need to budget tightly on such things.

I'm way more concerned about what OSs it will target and if they'll partner again with that monstrosify of a company known as Nvidia. If they infect it with gameworks again I'll lose a lot of confidence in it running well on my system.

I used to play Shadowrun as a young fella. books n dice!
Always hoped someone would one day have a go at bringing that world to life via a computer screen. (the recent shadowrun games didnt really do it for me)
Seemed a long way off when the top of the range stuff was police quest 3!!
I'm soooo looking forward to this. Some people have waited since it was announced...I've been waiting about 25 years!!!

I would say late 2020 at the earliest and I really don't think us plebs will get to see this game in action until e3 2019.
