^ Can understand Michelle Wolf but I liked Joel McHale... that lad cannot catch a break - he's becoming the new Nathan Fillion!
I just couldn't listen to Michelle wolf.
Totally agree with Mc hale really enjoyed that show such an easy watch

Loved The Soup but I thought the Joel McHale show was pretty rough.

Paul Feig was absolutely horrible on it.
Not as good as the soup but was still fun.
Feig was painful in it but some of the other guests were great like Jack Black

Just finished To All The Boys I've Loved Before, really enjoyable film with some great performances. Similar in tone to Easy A, would definitely recommend, shame it didn't get a cinema release.

Totally, it has all the cliches but it completely charmed me.

Said I'd try 'Insatiable' even with all the bad reviews and controversy around it.. after 35 minutes, Netflix stopped and indicated 'we're having trouble playing this title.'

Considered it a sign from the gods of solid TV.. it was pish!

Spot on, Netflix seems to do a half decent job when it comes to original rom coms tbh... There other film output is so poor, but rom com wise i enjoyed quite a few.
Alex strangelove and set it up especially.

Had a bit of a film filled weekend,

American Assassin - watchable enough thriller as long as you can park your brain outside for a while
The Wolf of Wall street - amazing and insane in equal proportion
Wind River - incredible film, very bleak depiction of the isolated areas of america. gret performance from jeremy renner.

a bit of clarification from netflix on the adverts

"It is important to note that a member is able to skip a video preview at anytime if they are not interested."

A company spokesperson said that the videos are not ads or commercials, but rather personalised recommendations for other shows and movies that appear on Netflix.

The statement continued: "A couple of years ago, we introduced video previews to the TV experience, because we saw that it significantly cut the time members spend browsing and helped them find something they would enjoy watching even faster."

Yeah, I don't mind interstitials if they're for other programs on the service, seems like fair game Netflix might want to promote other stuff. A potential irritant all right, but a mild enough one.

Disenchantment, Matt Groening's new show, has dropped on Netflix - the first 10 episodes anyway.

edit: uh, snap with gmisk and peteeeed :D
Watched three or four episodes and I really like it. Not too many LOL moments but enjoyable, fresh, and I like its world.

    Out of Thin Air

Watched this last night about a group of young men and women who are coerced into confessing for a crime they did not commit in Iceland in the 70's.

It's only 80 mins long but it flew by, a really fascinating watch with some very good production values.

Watched this as well at the weekend. Fascinating watch and an absolute travesty what happened to those people. Iceland just doesn't seem like the type of place to mistreat people so badly. Definitely worth a watch.

Unforgotten - seriously enjoyable, very easy to get engrossed.

Nearly finished - Nobel - very enjoyable, Norweigan Special Forces in Afghanistan, only watched 6 of the 8 episodes but find it a great watch.

    Netflix's next film.

It will get a limited cinema release before dropping on Netflix on November 9th.

Chris Pine as the Outlaw King.... Robert the Bruce.

Well the accent doesn't sound immediately horrible to these Irish ears, Pine doesn't seem to appear to be going full-on Groundskeeper Willy :D
