The politician, who's family member, the rumours were about was never a TD. Murphy's name will always be connected with JJD's disappearance, until the case is solved, as he was living in a rented house a few miles away from her last known sightings

And we know what he is capable of.

It seems likely that he is responsible for Deirdre and JoJo.

For those who want to know about the cases of Jojo, Deirdre and the other missing women in more detail it’s worth reading Alan Bailey’s book Missing Presumed.

Although he can’t disclose every detail about each case or name names (which is as it should be to protect the integrity of the cases ) he gives each one a thorough rundown and it’s clear in each case what he and his fellow Gardai believe happened each woman and who is responsible.

Yes, he was from Fermanagh, I remember at the time they played the recording of the phone call on the RTE news. He was tracked down pretty quickly but not sure what prosecution or any followed, I think there were mental issues.

In his book Alan Bailey explains that the man had lost his young daughter in a car accident for which he was partly to blame and he stated he wanted to spare Deirdre’s family the same pain.

Apparently the Jacobs were very understanding and even worried about his mental health.

    Yeah, I thought the same.

Thing about the map on the passenger seat was interesting.

If it was part of his MO maybe it should be publicised to see if there are any women he tried it on with who never copped it was him.

The politician, who's family member, the rumours were about was never a TD.

That makes this tale about the politician even less credible.

I know for a fact that LM, while in the process of attacking the girl he abducted in Carlow did tell her that she wasn’t the first one. And the way he done it proved he was well practiced too. There’s no doubt whatsoever he did it before and I think Jojo was most likely. Although there’s no telling how many he did

We would have to hope it is a small number and that his luck ran out with the Carlow woman (everything suggests he was about to murder her when he was disturbed). If he'd gotten away with the Carlow woman incident, he could have carried on for years with several more abductions.

The carlow woman was driven in her own car by lm. That does not fit with other people lifted off the road .
In her car he must have left dna
The whole thing does not fit for me

I don't think she was taken in her own car.
Murphy parked his beside her's and when she arrived at it he punched her and put her into his.

He was driving her car that night, he was probably going to burn it out when he was finished, it was a silver Renault 19 van that he drove.

Not according to this, he only drove the girl's car across the carpark : https://www.google.ie/amp/s/www.irishtimes.com/news/how-two-men-lamping-probably-saved-a-woman-from-being-killed-1.307440%3fmode=amp

Reading that report, it was an incredible stroke of luck the scumbag was caught in the act. He must have thought the chances of being disturbed in the mountains late at night by two men with powerful lamps was a million to one and simply couldn't happen and worse still for him that they recognised him immediately.

Tis terribly sad that family members have passed in so many of these cases of missing people , with out finding their loved ones .
Many many people effected by these bastards .
I hope someday to hear the good news of break throughs.
The people holding information will go to hell ,if theres such a place but can redeem themselves now by helping to solve these murders .
If you are reading this , do the right thing and help .it will give you relief and freedom .

I never heard of her name being made public or her doing an interview.
Details of her victim impact statement may have being released tough.

I know the lady's name - just did a quick Google with and without the name "Larry Murphy" and nothing in relation to it comes up. I was pretty sure it wouldn't anyway.

Not much point when people say he was never a TD. I'm pretty sure all this stuff about a politician is bollox anyway!

Politicians son gave her a lift to Moone, she called her family from there.

20 years and no one came forward with information as the op said?

Sadly that most likely means the only one person who knows what happened to her is the person responsible. Probably reveal it on their death bed. Supposed to forgive them too? Yeah right.

With deirdre , its hard to believe we have footage of her in town and a withness see her at her entrance in home .then gone .
    All so strange

Which could lead you to believe that at the entrance of her home she got into the car of someone she knew. Hardly a stranger. Otherwise she was taken in broad daylight against her will. Murphy seemed to be a bit more calculating than that.

That means he dropped Jojo to Moone, decided to turn around and go back to pick her up a second time?!? On one hand that seems implausible, on the other hand it makes sense Becs of the way she abruptly ended the phone call with her flat mate in Kilkenny saying ‘I have to go, I have a lift’ (or words to that effect). Who else in Moone would have known the girl in the phone box was looking for a lift or who else would she have recognized as someone who was there to give her one. Unless she spoke to someone else just before entering the phone box.

Nothing is as implausible tho as this tale about the father being a well connected politician causing X number of people to all work together to get him off. It’s ridiculous

It has never been confirmed that DJ didn’t enter the house and then leave again as far as I know?
