Adding parent as named driver

Hi there. I am taking out car insurance for the first time on my first car. I know that adding a parent can possibly bring down the price of my insurance. I am just wondering if I had an accident etc and I had my dad as a named driver on my insurance, would this affect his insurance in the future on his own car??

No, the only affect it could have on his insurance is if he was the driver involved in a claim under your policy
