Do you know if the hotel will allow a singer? I know people usually are drunk singing anyway.

You might have to book them for the night in full. I can’t think of many singers who’d accept a 2 hour booking at those times - as it effectively rules you out of working until very late the next day.

True. I suppose I was thinking maybe someone who preformed locally and who wouldn't mind doing a few extra hours before they finished up for the night.

The best residence bar sessions, are always where a guest brings in a guitar.

Do any of your guests play the guitar? I'd say somebody somewhere does. It might be your guests boyfriend/etc but who cares. Tell him/her to bring it along. Drunk people will all sing along.

No no one does that's the problem.

Stick with hiring someone. My friend recently got married and had a gentleman hired for the residents and it was brilliant. Keep the songs flowing, stopped drunk people trying to sing songs and forgetting words and most annoying part people trying to shush a 100 drunk people so the singer can be heard. Never been at a wedding where this was done but I thought it was great.
