72% went for Salah last week
    7% Other
    6% Sanchez
    5,3% Aguero

Will it be more balanced this week? Who you on?

Anyone that watched the Palace game last week will be captaining Salah.

They gave up a shed load of chances.

    De Bruyne

I'm worried Aguero could be rotated out for Jesus so reluctant to captain him for fear he might only get 20 mins. Thinking Eriksen could be a good shout as he could be Spurs main goal threat as Kane has his traditional month off, he's on corners as well which could be a source of assists for him too.

    De Bruyne

    RIP

Currently on Mané but could probably end up on Salah by the weekend.

Presently have it on Kun but will probably switch it to Mo before the deadline. Pep being Pep, you just don't know who will start for City.

As a Spurs fan, only if he stops hitting the first man...

(Yes I know we scored from a corner last week, but it was from a flick on at the near post to the far, so no Eriksen assist anyway!)

Otherwise I'd still expect a goal or assist from him.
    De Bruyne

    Injured isn't he?
    Aguero

Likely not to get a full 90, I have him as VC!

Aguero seems the obvious choice, but I've gone for Salah due to bookies odds.

    On last season's form: Mo
    On this season's form: Mo

(It's a case of Aguero V Mo for me)

Last season Manè scored against Palace home and away.

    Beam me up Scotty.

One thing I learned last season and will be sticking to is to stop trying to get ahead of the curve with Kane
So many times last year got him in too soon /capatined him when clearly not in form
Cost me at least one league

    Keep it simple
Salah or aguero (although you prob don't have him if you have Kane)

So you're saying he's due a blank vs them then! :pac:

There is no way I could dump him this week but if he blanks again id have no problem getting rid can't have him and not captain him this week though even with Salah in the team

If Aguero owners aren't captaining him this week, then when? And if not, is he really worth the coin?

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,167 ✭✭✭pimpmyhat

I'm very much tempted by Mendy this wknd.

Salah is going to be auto captain for most, don't have any problem not captaining Kun.

I've never really seen the logic in that point of view tbh. Just spend your money on the team that you think will get you most points, captain who you think is the best bet weekly.

Got caught numerous times last year trying to be smart, not captaining an inform Salah in favour of Kane and Lukaku in particular, who were playing at home.
Aguero might be different at home to Huddersfield however!! Rotation is a concern or him being taken off at 60 if they are 3-0 up.
Liverpool are a serious team this year, Salah always get chances so will stick with him.

I was really tempted too, but then I saw that in the last 5 seasons, No full-back/wing-back has delivered an attacking return in both GW1+2. We would be playing for the CS really. I would rather be hoping on Aguero to get an eventual goal / assist (or multiple) than a clean sheet only.

Which leads me onto Aguero - every time there is an expectancy for him to score big, he generally lets us down, from past experience.

Been on Kun all week and will more than likely stay there. Will see what is said at today's pressers.

Salah has had the armband all week, but the closer to the weekend the more I'm being tempted by Aguero against Huddersfield.
It's just that nagging thought of pep possibly rotating that's holding me back. I guess he's put the fear of Jesus in me
