Is it really as simple as it says?

I've seen them making these offers before but never really passed any heed on them

Anyone done this before in other years?

Wonder will it work with the UK Student cards from the Amazon Prime thread?

Yes, I got €50 for opening the account, and then another 50 was offered to anyone who made 10 debit card transactions.

The drawback was that KBC doesn't accept cash lodgements, so for students with part time jobs it's not very practical.

i did it a few years ago, i think it was for 100 euros.

It is that simple, although if memory serves me correct the payments are in 2 stages and u need to have made some lodgements or transactions within a certain time frame in order for u to get the second payment.

But definitely go for it, its easy money.

I think they just took people's details on an iPad in the college foyer, without asking for any ID.

Well thats class so, €75 free money so

Can always transfer money across from BOI account to help make the 10 transactions before the date anyway since €15 won't equal 10 transactions unless you really go out of your way

Just buy chewing gum or a Bic pen in the supermarket, ten separate times over a few months.

From the terms & conditions it seems that bank transfers don't count towards the 10 transactions.

In addition to this, if you make 10 debit card transactions on your KBC Student Current Account in any calendar month (the “Qualifying Transactions”) during the Reward Period (as defined below) you will receive a reward of €15 per month (the “Reward Payment”).

I imagine you could top up your Revolut card ten times though as that's a debit card transaction.
