    I think I'm supposed to post another question. As I'm reading these at the moment I'll ask where the phrase 'the curious incident of the dog in the night-time' originates?

    There was a book of that name (may have been a childrens' book) - I can't recall the author. It was a story that hinged on the fact that a dog did not bark when it might have been expected to. Maybe that came from a previous reference as Srameen suggests.

    Royal flush could be higher than 4 of a kind. Hard to remember when you've never had those hands.
