I just read somewhere on here about Robertson possibly having a knock when substituted last week. Not sure if there was any truth in that. If both are fit I'd be amazed if Robertson doesn't start

He came off on Saturday, but came on in the game on Tuesday, so can’t be anything serious.

On another note, how the actual f is that a Sanchez assist??

Oh right, I thought he didn't play at all on Tuesday. My bad. I really don't think Moreno has any chance of splitting proper time with Robertson. He's purely cover around possible rotation in CL weeks I'd say.

Can anyone answer this for certain - am I right in saying if the penalty is awarded against Amertay that there is no possible way that can be an assist for Sanchez?

Looks to me like the lads in the FPL towers are asleep at the wheel. I know there's lot's of discussion on here down the years on what should/shouldn't be assists, but to award points in that scenario just makes a bit of a mockery of the FPL game.

I need sleep. This game is already upsetting me. It's great to be back

Tbh, that's nothing Klopp wouldn't say about the likes of Firminho/Sturridge or Keita/Milner etc. He's just being positive about all the squad members. Now whether Klopp does what he did last season and rotate heavily in the first 2/3 months of the season is the only question.

Imo Klopp won't though. He'll go all out for the PL and the likes of Moreno might start 5/6 PL games at the most this season, most likely around CL games. As long as Robertson stays fit, it would be amazing if he wasn't the number 1 LB.

I’ve def seen your name before so know youve played last couple of seasons, this has always been given as an assist so not sure on why the confusion? We may not agree that it should be given when a cross gets handled but it has been for years so nothing dubious there.
I suppose people who played the World Cup ff (I didn’t) might be a little confused as it wasn’t given in that I believe but yep, has been for years in prem

The initial shot didn’t get handled though. If the penalty had been given against Morgan, that’s a clear assist. However, Morgan blocked the shot, ball is going clear of the area Sanchez was playing the ball to and for some reason Amartey handles it. I just don’t see how that’s an assist.

Due to time zones I was fast asleep for that game. Stayed up until midnight gleaning for info from pressers.

Avoided the result all day and just watched the match there now. Tame affair. Leicester looked the better team. Was surprised Maddison was taken off. Gray might actually become an option for me and I’ve been waiting over a year for that.

I got lucky with Shaw as only brought him in to cover the DDG high ownership with a view to moving him in on 2-3 weeks when he gets injured.

Is there confusion around who the penalty was given against? The ball hits Morgan, nothing given. Then deflects towards Amertay who handles it. Penalty given. If it was actually given against Morgan or from a crossing situation you mention I wouldn't have any issue. The penalty is clearly given against Amertay though, has a situation like that been awarded an assist before?

I can understand that as it happens, the FPL lads awarding the points might get who the ref gave it against wrong and think an assist is due. Once they know it was given against Amartey, and it clearly was, they should have taken Sanchez assist away. Not sure what they were playing at tbh

I bet on Sanchez FG and Mata FG. Sanchez wins the Pen and neither him or Mata take.
I went for DDG over Shaw. Most rivals have Shaw.
I put money on Vardy to score the next goal when he came on. Low and Behold, Luke poxy Shaw scores and then Vardy scores
