Oh I have just thought of something... forgive me.

Given that State subsidised housing is provided at taxpayer expense, are relevant stats allowed under FOI? I'll check it out tomorrow. A bit tired after standing up for the hard pressed taxpayer right now!

I suppose general stats would be available, but under GDPR the names of those on the housing list (and those bumped up via dubious publicity) cannot be named. Handy that.

Sigh.

A bench warrant was issued for the apprehension of Margaret Cash from 22 Sundale Villas in Tallaght.

She was due in the District Court sitting at Gorey to meet a charge alleging that on October 5, 2013 she was in possession of stolen property at Kilconnib in Monageer.

A solicitor was in court to suggest that there had been what he called a ‘break down in communication’ between Ms Cash and her legal representative. An application was made to have the case taken by Detective martin Brauders adjourned in the hope that this breakdown could bed repaired.

However, Garda Inspector Pat Cody felt obliged to seek the warrant, pointing out that this was not the first time that Ms Cash had failed to appear.

she is obviously able to find someone to mind the kids when out robbing.

I'm struggling with the maths of it. Child benefit for six kids is 840 a month. Lone parents is up to 200 plus 30 per child per week. Minimum she's getting from that is 1100 a month. job seekers probably another 800 per month. That's excluding all the extra benefits she'd be getting from social. How can you need help setting up a home when you are getting about 3000 a month from social?

It may have been posted before, but she was married to Johnny in 2016 and their have their own fb page under the "elizabeth margaret cash mccarthy" guise. How come anyone with half a brain can dig up and search the facts but the media run full steam ahead with these stories? are they afraid if the don't hit the ground with the story first others will beat them too it no matter the content, even the 9 o clock news is hard to stomach this evening.

After all the publicity today, they still failed to call this out for what it is. As I said before, maybe their target audience is different to places like this and they can get away with their Left Wing propaganda.

I dunno. Am baffled that this has gone on right up to the Nine o'c news as reported by others. Glad I don't watch TV anymore, and if I see anything on the online media bleeding heart style, I will shut it down PDQ.

I (and many others too) are far too savvy now. So the propaganda machine is definitely aimed at a particular audience.

Any guesses?

Almost all of these attention seekers are fake. Most genuine homeless people are too ashamed (&they shouldn't be) to put their own name in the public let alone their children. Usually the ones willing to put their names forward, as in this case, are scammers.
