Bit slow on the uptake there Dannyboy, I've been busting my hole at your posts for several pages now.

Which proves my point Einstein :D

    Not neccassarily

Watching television would be mindlessly switching through channels watching ads.
Plenty of shows to watch with no ads.

    I don't watch television.

So watching BBC TV is not watching tv...?

You could have a point there.

Remember when they started off they were asking women to write rubberbandits across their breasts and send them a photo. Loads did too

Maybe Blindboy should ask Louise O'Neill to do the same. After all he is a "woke bae" so I'm sure she'd be only glad to oblige

As those tweets show, they were regular Joe's back then but one of them said something that went down well with the Media Class. Suddenly a crapload of dopamine was released into their brains. Now they just say things to feed their praise addiction.

Blindboy needn't worry about those tweets. Tupac was a convicted rapist and the feminists seem to celebrate him as a woke hero.

His reply to someone who questioned his apathy was equally bizarre. He seems to wear his lack of interest and disconnect from the event as a badge of honour. Bit embarrassing to not know of your county's biggest sporting event in over a decade, possibly verging on history and winning a national title after 45 years.

Maybe he deems himself above something as common and rudimentary as hurling :o:rolleyes:
He's just humblebragging about being invited onto Up for the Match.

He really is some piece of work.

...and later released from prison where the charges of rape were dropped due to new evidence.
He did still carry 2 counts of sexual assault for groping a buttocks.

    humblebragging
make an ostensibly modest or self-deprecating statement with the actual intention of drawing attention to something of which one is proud.
"she humblebragged about how ‘awful’ she looks without any make-up"

Louise O Neill is always doing it in her tweets and columns.

Fair play, I couldn't have said it better myself. Blindboy doing the "who, lil ol' me?" act is grotesque.

This week on the Blindboy podcast, Blindboy says that, in his opinion, those who give him the most constant and vehement criticism are probably those who tried to create something, and failed, or those who never tried at all. His approach, he says, is to treat them like a lion with a thorn in its paw, and recognise this psychological wound they are carrying.

Do you have any thoughts on these observations? I hope you're not another one of his acolytes who just parrots everything he says.

    and fill their pockets.

It's a money thing more than anything. If you want to get your books, music or whatever promoted in the media then you better tow the line.

You can't blame them (RB's) for that really.

It would be interesting to chat with Boatclub in private and out of character. I'm sure he doesn't believe half of what he sprouts.

It worked in fairness. If they hadn't gone down the sjw route they'd have been a long forgotten novelty act by now.

He really is some piece of work.

He can't go on Up for the Match because he went to the same school as a fair number of the hurling panel and any decent question about him going to one of the best schools in Munster undermines his persona.

Tbf, I lost all time for him when he claimed he didn't pick the name or the cover for his book. ****s sake, are we really meant to believe he is so pliable he went with whatever the marketing guys said, and if he is so pliable, why should anyone take him or his marketing approved art seriously?

As Willie O'Dea said before, there are people in this world who want to wear the crown of thorns and take the 30 pieces of silver, unfortunately, Blindboy as he currently is, is one of those.

I'd love for him to take a real stand and stop going for the easy money, he's a talented guy, talented enough to do so.

Tbf, I think authors often don't pick the book title themselves.

Judging a book by it's cover is bad enough. Now people are judging an author by their books cover. Is that meta judgement?
