Facebook, Youtube and Apple don't give a wet scuttery fuck what you watch. They have however, quite legitimately decided that you won't watch this eejit via their platforms.

How come Alex Ferguson was never banned.

OK, what if today Alex Jones told his millions of fans that you (full name, with pictures and a partial address), are a paedophile and a devil-worshipper.

Would you be happy to let him say what he wants, then calmly and rationally explain to the crazy man with the enormous audience that you are not in fact a paedophile or a devil-worshipper?

You are limited to using your public platform of your own little twitter account and your facebook page to defend yourself, Jones gets to use his enormous public platform to attack you with appalling and dangerous lies.

Would you still defend his freedom of speech after his insane fans have destroyed your business/gotten you fired/driven out of your home/harrass you every. single. day via phonecalls, letters, emails, etc.,

And you know, even if he issues a retraction they aren't going to go away - they will probably never all go away. This will be your life from now on because these people are nuts

And all because Alex Jones really wants to sell some pills to easy marks.

They aren't, they are deciding on their behalf - it's their platform

    Thanks for sharing.

let me see if I can expand on the others posters point.

Alex Jones is scum. He's a liar and a fraudster. He sucks in gullible people with ridiculously stupid stories. He's responsible for Sandy Hook families being harassed. He's also said that drag queens should be burned. He makes Sean Hannity look like a lefty.

Anyone who wants to argue that he's actually telling the truth or defending any of the crap he spouts on his show is obviously so deluded that they will not be able to have a rational argument.

therefore there is no point arguing with someone who tries to legitimise him.

Could say this about the BBC, MSNBC, Fox News, CNN etc.

The mainstream media helped play a huge role in the Iraq war by propagating it. That lead to over a million deaths. Something a million times worse than anything Infowars will be responsible for, ever. This idea that the mainstream media doesn't mislead or lie is just factually wrong. They push nonsense onto people, try to influence public perception and as I said have openly supported wars in the past.

When Trump bombed the Syrian airfield the mainstream media loved it and was full of praise for him, some of the commentators got visibly excited by seeing the rockets firing in the air. I have always said these channels are propaganda channels designed to influence it's particular market.

why can you not just state what claims he has made that you think are true or may be true?

Because then he could be challenged on it and risk having it debunked.

Go watch him on his website. No-one, and I'll repeat this, NO-ONE, has told you that you can't watch him.

He said that drag queens should be burned. He broke their T&C. He did it all by him self.

So get down of the fcuking cross.

what are these dodgy dealings? do tell. Do you actually have information to share or is all just baseless speculation? I can see why you are attracted to Alex Jones.

He heard some buzzwords which were enough to confirm his feelings but he's simply not capable of articulating those feelings into logical sentences because the theory isn't logical. I've met a few conspiracy theorist in my time who are exactly like this - they can get as far as a claim but when they try to explain it, they get tied up in knots. It's as if their brain is fighting with itself.

There are plenty of video's on youtube, which are aimed at straight white male hate, and actually encourage anti men behaviour why haven't they been banned.

    Email Youtube and complain so.

I don't know enough about what he said to comment, and to be honest at the end of the day you have a choice to watch or not to watch, and I didn't watch 90% of the content he had on there. What I watched was fairly damning on the Clintons and that hasn't changed.

You don't think it's worth investigating the fact that he's being sued by the families of victims of Sandy Hook? Your bigger concern is that you think straight white men are hard done by? You've not shown anything horrifying about the Clintons while it's easy to find examples of Jones being a terrible human being with no human decency. It's also verifiable. Unlike the stuff about Sandy Hook, FEMA, 911 and his conspiracies about Jews etc.

You haven't really proven why Alex Jones fans should be taken seriously. As a straight white male, I'm struggling to hold your critical faculties in much regard.

Have you reported them? You could contact Youtube about it.

I think that the whole 'school shootings = conspiracy' thing is the straw broke the camels back, tbh. Before that he was just another nutty shock jock.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, the fact that he's being sued in America doesn't surprise me, I'm surprised it took them so long. Not sure what you mean by horrifying. Did Alex Jones actually burn someone.

Just did a quick search on google and Abu Haleema's video's are still on youtube.

I think he should have been banned, or worse, years ago. I wouldn't go along with the slippery slope objections. Everyone knows the expression "it's a slippery slope" but I don't think that this particular slope is slippery. I think the platforms will continue to ban less than they should, rather than more, for commercial reasons.

People like him were what the term 'fake news' referred to before El Trumpo hijacked the phrase and started pointing it at the mainstream media, who are a good deal less fake than Jones & his ilk, in general.

He accused parents of being crisis actors up until last year. They can't visit their children's graves, they receive threats. They constantly have to move. All because of Jones, how is that not horrifying? Everyone is entitled to an opinion but not every opinion is worth the same amount. This isn't an example of litigation culture btw, this is a person being a scumbag and ruining lives.

Can't you put these conspiracies into your own words.

What specific conspiracies are you referring to? Clinton is based on fact, Cory Haim abuse is a fact, there's no conspiracy.
