    why- whats he done?

His flapping over Kerri-Ann. Basically demanding she moves out of the Bishops house because Decco raised his voice in The Station the other night!

I thought calling someone your partner means your more serious then calling them ur girlfriend.

I think calling someone your girlfriend should be relegated to young wan's and teenagers - sure when you get to their age (detective and fag ash Lil) you should be using the term partner , seems weird the terminology 'girlfriend/boyfriend' at that age

I don't think it's meant to signify age or youth though. It's a word for a female companion - partner would suggest a committed long term relationship, whereas girlfriend could be either short term or long term.

    Makes no odds .
Carol was going to have a problem whatever he said, I don’t know why ?
She snarled at him in the next scene “I’m not your girlfriend, I’m not your partner, I’m not your friend, I’m gone “(or something along those lines ).

Sexy cop has done nothing wrong , I don’t know what her problem is! He’s pretty decent, cool, attractive guy , she’s going to drive him straight into Janes arms and I’ll be delighted. I don’t understand why they haven’t given Jane a boyfriend , she’s gorgeous and smart too .
She can stand up for herself but she’s not nasty like carol and has a nicer voice!
Sexy cop would be a step up from poor Dermot for Jane :D

Is “fag ash lil” still living in Jane’s free gaff?

Really? Used for females only? .... Not!

I always thought "partner" was used by people in a gay relationship

If someone says 'partner' to me, it implies they're in a long term committed relationship, but without any intention of getting married.
In my experience it goes boy/girl friend -> finacee -> husband/wife or boy/girl friend -> partner - same applies whether gay/straight.

How is Kerriann not mortified to be imposing on Ray Mondo and Juliet. There’s barely room for 3 not to mind 4.

cant believe its gone off tangent a bit with this partner / girlfriend etc .. but a partner can be used for both gay or straight and for people also who want to take it to the next level of fiance eventually ... or maybe not if they just want to stay single... but together :) - to throw another spanner in the works you could say "this is my other half" - but this normally can happen when you are married :D

I think 'girlfriend' is meant to be an all encompassing word to describe a relationship with a girl / woman. It could be someone you have been on three dates with or someone you've been with for three years.

'Partner' would suggested something more serious, a long term relationship between two people. In the latter case, people can use 'girlfriend' instead, it's up to themselves.

They should pair up Carol and Damo, I think they would be an ideal couple.

Let them wallow in misery together.

I think Kerry-Anne will some how blame Decco for the murder. Maybe say she was a batterd wifew, drove to it

I think Jane just wants to play a few rounds of hide the sausage with Detective Steve

That Kerrianne is the most evil manipulative b*tch that has been in Carrigstowm in a long time, she literally is happy to take the bed of a teenage girl, I can’t see her being able to care for a child or be able to provide any sort of love as she is clearly a complete narcissist.

All this stuff by Cristiano is OTT with Kerrianne.

Now I might be way off but I wonder will Will end up looking after Rose and end up finishing her off.
Either with Eoghan knowing or it bring a secret. It might also come out the same thing happens a few months ago with Ronan.

That was some of the worst acting I've ever seen on Fair City. Kerri-Ann girl you are bruuutal!

And calling the unborn baby by her name - that's just weird.

Maybe GlenRose will now let slip Trigger Foley was also Eoghan's dad when she has a clear lucid moment, was Eoghan's dad ever talked about?

I think the time has honestly come to just give up on fair city, myself as a viewer it’s honestly, just rubbish. Last night episode was just brutal like watching first class kids prefrom a school play.

I finally had enough when Cristiano was with Kerri-Ann in the delivery room both of them made me cringe so hard I think I died in the inside.

It’s not only just them like 90% of the cast is just awful but Fair City does have some good actors like Bob & Hughie.

It’s not only that it’s the cheapness of it all exciting storyline lead up to nowhere, most stuff happens off screen and half the time the soap doesn’t make sense at all remember Niamh I’m leaving Paul this week that went on for months and along Dermot and the money.

As a soap fan I love Coronation Street, Emmerdale & EastEnders so I’ll see you on thoose threads.

Thanks for all the laughs in this thread also :)

For the past two weeks, everytime Decco raised his voice slightly to Kerri-Ann, Ray somehow happened to be in the vicinity. In the pub, in the shop, in the street, Ray was never more than a few feet away.
Will he be in the labour ward in place of Decco when this not-so-immaculate conception comes around?

PS. Tajd, while I understand your frustration with this Mickley-mouse load of drivel, it saddens me every time a regular poster pulls the plug on here. But maybe you'll reconsider.......
