Watched "Death at a Funeral" last night. Haven't laughed as much in years. A hand-picked ensemble cast, including Peter Dinklage from Game of Thrones and the late great Peter Vaughan in a cameo, ensure this is 90 minutes of hilarity.

There were two versions of this weren't there? Both with Peter Dinklage. Which one is this?

    This too shall pass.

    Anyone watched Final Space yet?
    I thought it was great.

A good bit into The Vietnam War. It's very good. Didn't realise I knew sfa about the basic details of it.
Hitler's Circle of Evil was also very good.

Montage of Heck is good. Happy! is good.

I didn't know there was two versions but, on checking imdb.com, you are right. It's the original (British from 2007) that I watched on Netflix.

I don't know if anyone has mentioned The Sniffer yet. Funny name, I know. It is in Russian with subtitles so really not for when you are tired. As someone with a very acute sense of smell I have met my hero. The first episode is a little lackluster but it grows on one and the quirky hero is quite likeable (in my opinion). It's a detective series. The interiors are arty, the women are universally sexy, the characters are almost all brooding caricatures with odd senses of irony, (except when they are being overtly alluring/crazy women). Don't blame me though if you don't like it, I have weird tastes :o

Holy **** !!! Charlie and Mac got the show made !!! Hows Dolph Lundgren in it ???

It would be a sublime episode if they cast called for the movie, Dolph turns up and gets rejected for being too Lundgrenny after a brief martial arts scene with Mac. Maybe have Charlie spit on him too.

^ Yeah, watched the first 2 or 3 episodes of Good Girls.. and thought it was good, but not groundbreaking. Best described as Weeds, but not as exciting or well-written.

I finished this series (Good Girls) yesterday. Never heard of it before, just say it featured on the 'popular on netflix' ribbon.

It's grand. Watchable. Bit cliched at times, but easy to follow and entertaining. :)

I just finished watching Underground. Not a Netflix original but was made by Sony Television. It has ten forthy five minute episodes and two seasons. It 's about seven salves who try to escape a cotton plantion in the deep south. It really delves deep in to what slaves had to endure before they were allowed freedom. I don't know if many of you remember the excellent series Roots which was also about slavery well i would put Underground up there with that. best series I have seen in a very long time. Great story and plenty to keep you wanting more. I do hope there will be a third series it deserves it. Definitely recommend it.

Trailer for Maniac - premieres 21 September

That has definitely gotten my attention (although part of me wishes they had called it Supermad).

First series in a while I'm looking forward to watching going by the trailer.

Sort of reminded me in parts of The OA.

About halfway through Season 1 if Fauda and enjoying it. Read some posts asking if its balanced or not, given what its about, but I'm not sure that matters. Not to me, anyway. Its not a documentary. Would definitely recommend.

    Just finished Season 2.

Really.enjoyed it. Found Season 2 even better than Season 1.

Same director as season 1 of True Detective. That trailer does not excite me but it might be very good based on the quality of season 1 of True Detective.

Hill looks like he went through a major illness or is taking a lot of something that isn't good for him.

His weight has yo-yoed like crazy the past few years depending on the role. He slimmed down completely for 21 Jump Street, gained it all back and more, and now he's back to being slim again. He's like an inverted Christian Bale.
