Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Pedestrianisation and One-Way adjustments, recent and upcoming

Looking for some opinions on it based on the recent and upcoming one-way, pedestrianisation of streets in the country.

Athlone is going one-way as we speak. After the badly thought out attempt circa 2009, this one includes footpath widening, added ameneties etc.

Overall a decent plan, some adjustments needed vis a vis traffic lights for the cars, but great step to make the town centre a place to hang.

There was a scheme put forward for a narrow road in Rathmines on IrishCycle earlier

I'd be interested in seeing the scheme in Athlone, I remember it being mayhem cycling through a few years ago, but that was after spending hours on the canal and Rail trail
