New job on Monday, what do you think is the best way to tell them I need 4-5 days off at the end of the month? :P

Invent an Uncle who has passed away in Scotland or something like that, or a relative, then you can pick a listing from RIP.ie to back yer claim. :) Good luck.

I love the new Robyn song. I know she won’t be announced but a girl can dream

That'd be one hell of a coup - and is entirely possible too.

They've one European date lined up this year: End of the Road the same weekend. They've done a few shows in California and Japan and have one lined up for Chicago this week.

New album/song due out by the end of September (Sony financial statement confirmed 'new material' by that date) but they have remained very quiet on shows and material up to this point.

They were heavily rumoured for a European festival run earlier in the year after they confirmed their comeback and the End of the Road show but it didn't materialise so if EP was the only other one to have them, it'd be impressive.

All the promo material around the EOTR show describe it as a "UK exclusive show" this year so if they don't show up at EP, I would imagine it'll be 2019 before they're back over this side of the world.

That'd be an expensive enough one for them. In VW and the Prodigy you've two potential headliners.
Would be an incredible announcement though.

    I'm gonna say
    Manic Street Preachers
    Robyn
    Liam Gallagher
    Sleaford Mods
    Rudimental
    The Academic

Seems to be a lot of shouts for Liam Gallagher. He is also booked every weekend until the end of September except EP weekend.

    The Prodigy
    Catfish and The Bottlemen
    St Vincent
    A-Ha
    The Streets

    Is her Songkick accurate? https://www.songkick.com/artists/537844-robyn/gigography

1 gig last year, 3 the year before, just a few over 2014, 2015?

Would love to see her live but didn't realise it was that much of a rarity!!

The Murder Capital on that Other Voices stage would be incredible.
Only recently discovered them, one of the most intense live bands you'll ever see. Genuinely menacing feel to them.

it'd make sense, but apparently he said at the gig in Malahide, and on twitter, that he'd be back in Ireland "next year"....

Lost brothers are a good addition to OV, they’ll probably pop up on some other stage as well.

Take a couple of Arret, it should sort out any looseness.

I spent the last 30 minutes listening on Spotify only to realise they're not on spotify but some lad called Uncle Murda has an album called 'The Murder Capital'

I'd love some charlatans, James (albeit unlikely), Happy Mondays (or some 90's indie) Catfish & The Bottlemen, Vampire Weekend.

Elect a clown... Expect a circus

If it happens, all is forgiven EP, worth the wait.

It wont happen, nothing is forgiven, and the wait was just stupid.

I beg to disagree. Would also put George Ezra, The Kooks & Ben Howard in the same bracket of acts I wish EP didn’t shell out money on. I accept that there will always be disposable pop at EP but there could be a hell of a lot this year. In fairness Glastonbury has always had that and it’s never impacted on my enjoyment.
    .

I wouldn't put Ben Howard in the same group as those, have you listened to his stuff? Its a couple of levels above.
