    As a general comment....

    My Mother in her eighties needed 2 carers to lift her etc. My Father was the second person to lift her. He is
    also in his eighties but thankfully able to do this. And was happy to do this for her.

    My point is...there seems to be an attitude that the Governmemt/HSE supply everything.

    Like im sorry for this woman here.

    But what about her family? We all want privacy etc but why is her family not rowing in to help?

    Years ago families cared for their vulnerable members.

    Life sucks and its not fair. But at the end of the day this is their family member.

    You cannot just throw it all to the state ie taxpayer to fund these people for the rest of their life.
