He would be a brilliant signing but no one is going to pay the fee Barca would want. They really did get taken to tbe cleaners last summer.

He would be an exciting, uplifting signing.

I think that type of signing is needed.

Not at that price unless Barca would take a hit on the fee.Its odd that they bought Malcolm now have 2 young wingers to accommodate

Rebic... Just... No. Please. We have enough average.

The lack of ambition is painful.

[DM_7] Manchester United want Cavani if Martial departs, Ed Woodward still has Neymar wish.

Can I get a job with the indo now :p

Imagine City needed a right winger to start for them and were linked with Rebic.

You'd be praying they actually signed him.

So underwhelming if he's our answer.

I think they were short last season to be honest, in terms of numbers. They have a fluid forward line for 3 players. Suarez needs rests, Dembele young, malcolm young, they'd have the rotation chances.

They're not 3rd/4th choice though are they.

I don't think anyone can confidently claim any of the 5 are first choice.

Anyone know of a proper decent RW that is available for transfer apart from Bale, now that Malcolm is with Barca?

Serious question as I'm failing to think of any. The Dembele links tonight that i posted are more than likely bull**** so i doubt he is available to be purchased.

Probably will be plenty of games to go around but its 150m of talent on the bench playing back up.

United should have taken a punt on Malcolm, Maybe they enquired and he had no interest.
At 40m he could be a bargain and would have had a great chance to make RW spot his own.

Honestly, I'd be looking at Zaha now.

Would be very happy with Zaha actually. But I've seen him linked to Dortmund a bit recently.

Look at Richarlison, 40 million sterling after one season, last goal in November.

How much would Zaha be worth.

Double that wouldn't be far away I'd guess .United hardly have a buy back clause ?

Depends if we go after Palace's manager first and want to avoid paying compo elsewhere :P

Iirc, we had a clause for a small percentage of the sell on profit. Presumably could save it and get him a little cheaper than other clubs might.

I remember when he was linked with a move away from Palace before and Parish came out and said we had a “big sell on clause” whatever that means

I wouldn't be touching Dembele with a 20 yard stick. Are people forgetting the AWOL incident and general sh$te-hawking he employed to get his move to Barcelona. And now is complaining about not getting a congratulatory text from his manager. The guy is in the puberty stages of his career and is already a Yaya 2.0. His character doesn't allow him to be a Mourinho player and he never would have been a Ferguson player for the same reasons. He will be a Balotelli type player.......talented but wrong mentality.

Have we been linked with Pulisic at all?

Mostly from the right side for Dortmund last two seasons.

    In an ideal world :

Get Dembele and have Martial, Lukaku, Dembele and Rashford to fill the 3 attacking spots for the next 6-8 years

    In reality :

Go for Rebic and sell Martial :(

    Lozano. Looked excellent in world.cup

We need Bale if we want to challenge.

It’s that simple, and that’s assuming he plays at least 80% of the games which is not exactly guaranteed.

At this moment in time I wouldnot be banking on a top 4 finish. As I see it there are two teams better than us now, and Chelsea and Arsenal are unknowns.

Forgot about him Deffo wouldn't say no at the right price. Could see him being type player Jose would warm to very hard working.

    I would disagree.

We need a first choice RB and LB to challenge. These are vital positions that need to be filled.

Im dreading going into the new season with bloody likes of Val and Young starting. These are just not good enough to get us to the next stage.

Getting Bale is a luxury signing and should be really on the back burner and plus my personal opinion is why sign such a injury prone player anyway

All the talk of players being a Mourinho type player ffs

Jose will be found out this season and sacked I can see it happening

The players we buy should be Manchester United type players not Mourinho mould type players

We had the 2nd best defence in the league last season but the 4th place attack. We were let down by the players who filled the positions behind Lukaku not the full backs imo. We need a new left back of course but it’s not going to improve the attack significantly, what we need is a player who will nail down a position in attack and score some bloody goals.

It would make no odds pulling names from a hat for a starting position between Pogba, Martial, Sanchez, Mata, Lingard because they all lack consistency and I forsee Mourinho being forced to chop and change early on as he did most of last season, which will lead to the “does Mourinho not know his best team?” remarks . Honestly which one of those players will score 15+ goals in the league next season? None is my prediction.

The morning back pages have the story that Leon Bailey wants a move to the EPL, Liverpool and Arsenal linked. Does he play on the right wing?

The way mourinho is behaving at the moment he’s laying the groundwork to get sacked, the guys on off the ball we’re spot on this evening, basically said they can’t listen to another year of mourinho moaning!
