Yay... Darmian on to be sh1t for 83 minutes. Hope valencia injury isn't bad. Don't want him first choice, really, but certainly don't want Darmian starting the season right back for us.

Vidic and ferdinand were the first choice centre backs when we won the league. Rafael first choice right back

All the players were backups when we won the league. We've not won the league with them as first choice in their current positions. Valencia is the only one that was first choice in a title win, but not at full back.

Mendy is a better lb than young. Marcelo is light years ahead of young going forward.

You could take young ahead of Delph but Delph is backup, I'd have zero issue with young being our back up.

Our first choices are the level of other top sides backups. That's why we won't be winning the top trophies.

Who would buy Valencia to be first choice right back in the morning? Jones? Smalling? No big side, yet here we are... Going into yet another season with fans (and Jose) deluding themselves into thinking this season will be different. This season valencia will realise you should try to aim for your own team. Smalling and Jones will realise 'last ditch' isn't the only way to defend. That young will realise going the outside will stretch the opposition and provide more space.

How Mourinho is ok with this effing sh1t show is beyond me. Has he given up wanting to win? Happy to just take his pay cheque and not rock the boat?
