Cotside.. just changed a stinking nappy, well 2 actually as he decided to go again mid-change. .. all the while blowing baby kisses as me so I wouldn't curse a blue streak.. funny boy. ( Jesus Christ what am I feeding him, he's lucky he's cute!) Just what you want at 2am, then I found the 3 year old snuggled in beside her daddy.. so got given out to for moving her, mid tears she decides she needs the loo and her Elsa bed.. all quiet again but now I'm wide awake.. hmmm

Lying diagonally across my bed trying to motivate myself to gerr up out of dat and go do laundry. Woke up 3 times last night panicking that I had to do some. It's not that bad but the fact am having disturbed sleep over it must mean it is.

Or maybe am just annoyed that my mum can't congratulate me on getting more work without passive aggressive "you need to grow up and join the real world" esque messages.

And they wonder why I put thousands of miles between us?
Update: (coz you are dying to know) went to put on wash and don't have a full load. Gonna have to wait.

Happy Saturday all.... back abed with toast and coffee after my early morning "call home" and house/outdoor work.. Does not look much better but it is! Mighty midges have had their breakfast off my right ankle so waiting for piriton to click in..

So still and silent out there with low grey skies...

Later today I aim to pick the rose hips that are ripe. All is crazy this year with the extreme heat.

May go further afield...Offered to take care of the little church here so that is a good walk for dog and I. Lovely to feel and be needed...

Just a quiet island day.... Caught up with what handknits will sell in Canada so meaningful knitting...
