Easiest & quickest way to paint rough pebbledash exterior wall - Roller or paint spra

I want to paint the exterior wall of our holiday home which has a rough pebbledash ... ie chips > 1cm square. I've never used a paint sprayer so don't even know if something suitable exists but the last time I painted it I used a roller and it was very slow! Any suggestions?

Would a weed sprayer work maybe water down the paint a bit .

Shaggy roller and water the paint down but you may need two coats.
