Freeview and Saorview the same?

I'm looking at TVs on Amazon and as a mainly UK site, they only list Freeview as a feature. None of them state Saorview. My question is, is Freeview the same as Saorview? Can I get the national stations using Freeview instead of Saorview?

Depends, FreeView HD should be the same as SaorView, but Standard FreeView would not work

TVs from the well know manufacturers will be pan-European models and be capable of tuning both Saorview and Freeview.
